| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, I kinda expected but Brianne is intimidated by Jiren's presence alone on the battlefield. At least she managed to fight Goku for a decent amount of time. I like the battle OST theme between Jiren and Goku. Definitely worth it after all the hype between these two. Jiren's so damn powerful tbh, didnt' even faze him at all until Goku went Super Saiyan Blue. Even then, he still struggled against him and now SPIRIT BOMB. |

| Very good episode. Amazing fight between Goku and Jiren, really liked how much of a monster Jiren is. Blasts Goku and then poses thinking he had won. So a U7 powered Spirit Bomb was not enough to even faze Jiren. But wow Jiren's techniques are amazing. He's physically strong and mentally, the way he used his eyes to push the SS back to Goku, just goes to show how well developed he is. |

| Excluding the Ribrianne part the episode was pretty good. Jiren is just on a different league compared to every other fighter in the tournament. |

| This was a very nice episode, Jiren is just as dominating and op as i thought he would be, battle between Goku and Jiren was as i expected jam packed with good fight scenes wish it was longer still, the new OST during the fight was pretty good i hope Sumitomo releases another cd with all the new tracks after the Tournament. |

| Well, this episode was basically everything except epic... Using the Genki Dama was stupid not to talk about the size of it! In Z took all the population to do one equal and now took like... 10 people or less... -.- Wtf? And isn't the Genki Dama supposed to be used against bad guys? 2/10 episode. |

| The beginning was kinda silly with all these love thing of Ribrianne, but we know that from the previous episodes. Jiren is absolute crazy. I had a feeling he was strong but that exceeds everything I could imagine about him. Even with 20x Kaioken I can't stand a chance. Atm I don't understand what Jiren power exactly is. And even with Gokus most powerful attack the Genkidama + 20x Kaioken he can't beat him. That's so unreal to see a guy who's playing with Goku like it's nothing. Even Beerus was surprised by Jirens power and that means a lot. I have no clue what Goku is about to do or which opportunities he has left. The OST during the fight and also the ED were pretty lit :) |

| Jiren is pretty OP. They went with the Spirit Bomb eh? Is this one really gonna be strong when in Z it took the energy of so many people to take out Kid Buu? Anyway, the final sequence with the spirit bomb going back and forth reminded me of the PS2 Budokai Tenkaichi games. XD |

| This.was.AMAZING!!!! Whoever directed, animated, and choreographed the fights in this episode, deserves a medal! It was a-ma-zing. First episode of DBS in a long long time that I genuinely loved. Jiren is stronger than Blue Goku Kaio-ken x20 and even deflected the Spirit Bomb back. Either Goku will have to show that new form that we've been teased with, or do a fusion with Vegeta. Though I doubt the second will happen. |

| The episode seemed to have a bit more movements than usual. On the other side, we got someone dumb enough to use a technique with loading time in the middle of a face-to-face. Still slightly happy to see Goku take a bit of dust after al this time. 2.5+/5 Oh, sweet ending (apart from that "Goten playing Goku") who reminds me how good/better the old times were.  My theory on Jiren. MIB came out on July 4, 1997. Ironically, Jiren made his first appearance on DBS around the same time in 2017. LOL. |

Crush Goku. Dat ki. Its blowing at Goku so hard he looks like Vegetto. Even Beers sweating making him look like a JoJo character. Zen-chan is excited. Dat kamehameha. Goku goes SSJ. SSJ2. Goku skips SSJ3 and goes into SSG. Jiren finally blocks... with his finger. Goku goes SSGSS. Goku sizing up Jiren. Goku vs Jiren. Goku uses Kaio-ken. Ha! lol at Thanos face in shock. Jiren steps on Goku. Owari da. Dat punch. Dat blast. Goku uses Kaio-ken to get back in. Goku flies toward Jiren. WTF! What an episode. Did not expect Goku vs Jiren so early. Goku is a god and can barely touch Jiren so Jiren is a higher level god than him. Universe 7 should be disqualified. Roshi, outside the field, took a senzu (illegal inside the battlefield) then gave Goku, who is inside, some of his full energy for the Genki Dama. New ED is fire even though I still miss Boogie Back. |

| First episode of Fall 2017, and I was wondering why there were so few posts on what was probably one of the best looking episodes of the arc so far, I guess that’s probably because both episodes were aired back to back and many decided not to post about this episode, and I can see why based on that preview lol, but that’s for the next one. Funny to think this episode started out with a Ribrianne fight that wasn’t all that interesting despite Ribrianne’s “transformation” (she grew wings lol), but then became one of most hype fights in the arc so far with Goku and Jiren facing off for the first time, I can see Ribrianne as amusing but get her out of here, I gotta see this grey alien guy lol. And the fight looked quite awesome, I liked seeing Goku progressively make Jiren react more as he progressed through his forms, finally turning it into an actual fight with Super Saiyan Blue, but damn Goku really got his ass handed to him, I knew Jiren was strong but I figured Goku would match him a bit more, I guess with Jiren being the “final boss” this makes sense. I really liked the fight as a whole (although the preview shows it’s not over yet), but I will say the spirit bomb part was a disservice to the spirit bomb lol, ain’t no way just the whole Universe 7 team minus Vegeta were going to make a spirit bomb capable of beating Jiren, I guess the idea is cool but yeah, hard to believe lol. And with the new cour comes a new ED, and damn I’m ngl that might just be one of the bests of the show, I’m glad they picked some real bangers for this last major arc (I’m looking at you Goku Black arc), loved the visuals too, this one is definitely one of my favorites, it’s one of those that makes me wish it was a full 1:30 instead of just one minute lol. |

| This beam struggle was good! I loved this one! It had that classic feel like back on Namek between Goku and Frieza. I have wondered for a while if Goku and co. would use the Super Dragon Balls to revive the erased universes, and I think that's what they are gonna do. This one basically hinted at that. Also, though it seemed weird at first, I understand why Jiren might want to let Goku use his big move - he wants to figure out how to counter it and not get surprised by it later. Cool stuff! |
