It's The Apothecary Diaries, you've probably seen the cover art, it's quite popular. And for a good reason, it's beautiful and the main duo are a perfect fit. The story is set in medieval China and plays in the royal palace, revolving around Maomao solving mysterious cases, mostly poisonings and suspicious accidents (while Jinshi is trying to earn her attention :)
