One Punch Man 3

I LOVE this show. Sure the animation is a slight step down from season 2, but people exaggerate. The decrease in animation is definitely overshadowed by the positives in my opinion, let me explain.

One punch man has never been a show thats supposed to be deep and change your opinion on life, it's simply meant to be a fun show with great gag humour thats enjoyable to watch. Sure it has great action and a cool cast but i think the main point is the comedic aspect, which in my opinion is just as good here as in the previous 2 seasons. If you ... enjoy that type of humour you will enjoy season 3. Additionally, the OST is great just as in the previous seasons and it's a vibe. If animation is the main reason for watching anime, then I guess this isn't for you. No need to hate, just simply like or dislike it.

Just read the manga. I have never and will never complain about the story and plot progression in One Punch Man. It is no literary masterpiece but it doesn't try to be. It's a funny feel good show with likeable characters, good world-building, and great visuals. This adaptation maintains all of those except the last part.
It is clear that the animation and art direction for this season have been lackluster, and likely because the animation studio was not given enough time or budget to do so. Despite all that, I do believe this is a story worthy of being told. So read the manga, or ... if you don't mind the choppy visuals, hastily drawn characters, and subpar production quality, then just watch the show.

My advice is to only watch the first season of One Punch Man and continue reading the manga. Unfortunately, if you read this review, you most likely have seen season two already. Don't watch season three. You'll be left with the same feeling of watching a downgraded version of the previous season, as when you started season two, but way worse.
Sure, Madhouse set the bar really high with the first season, but this is just an insult to the fans.
It's been six years since season two, yet they decided to create the whole third season in one year apparently. It has the same feeling as ... finishing an assignment in one night before the deadline after procastinating for three weeks. The budgets been tight too and you can feel and see it. J.C.Staff should have never accepted this job, neither should have any other studio. It would've been better had the third season been cancelled, so the anime wouldn't be remembered as the laughing stock of action Seinen.
I can only hope for the last episodes to be an animation masterpiece, but it's highly unlikely.
