About time that book about the Earth is completed.

This was a tense episode between Novak and Draka. They had to make a difficulty decision with the fact that failure could cause lives. Liked the overall protray of emotions in this and serves to build more into the final episodes. Novak seems to also be the type of guy in making choices this season.

Time flies so fast.
Frei was sus and he was really a traitor. So..... I've wondered about who will be the one that Draka going to negotiate with. Nowak? Antony?

Nowak? He didn't even appear in this episode.

Orb delivering another great episode, now only 4 episodes left. I thought Frei was SUS, and he really became the traitor but that the small boy whose father got killed in that night became Frei (I think?)

I wonder with who Draka will negotiate with

Just as we thought, we are out of the danger and we're close to achieving our goal. We end up with an even bigger problem. We have been betrayed by one of the guys who was working with us all this time, Frei, the kid we saw for a brief moment in one of the episodes.

After a lot of discussions, we have come to the conclusion to let Draka escape while all of them will help her escape, and will probably die in the process. It's ironic that God wanted everyone to run but the Captain reverted God's decision and is now going to pursue his own heart and let Draka escape and hope she's able to publish the book by herself.

Incredible writing. Can't wait to see how things end as we approach the end of the show. Incredible show.

Peak, simply PEAK.Draka sacrificing her fathers keepsakes proved her resolve to Shmidt, gained his trust and entrusting her to carry out the plan.Beautiful.

Called it Frei was a traitor ever since he seemed opposed of publishing the book. But damn, was taken aback when he repeated the exact words by the uncle that killed the kids dad 25 yrs ago.

From the way Lewandowski reacted to Drakas plan then saying theyre fighting the church, looks like the "him" really points only to Antoni. She did considered it too when he asked her to hand the book before.

Knew something felt fishy about Frei being the only one of the trio to not get his own backstory scene before Jolenta's sacrifice. Dude might've royally screwed everyone over but I can't help giving him credit for the self-control it took to reveal his betayal precisely at the point when it'd cause the most damage.

Manually flipping over a coin whose landing was "determined by God" is one hell of a way to send a message. Really gonna miss Schmidt.

I was sus of Frei but didn't think he was the boy in that flashback. Another amazing episode. Now everyone in the organization will die so Draka can escape. This show really never stops killing all the characters. Schmitt is also just such a great character and I love how as soon as he says it's an order to overturn the coins decision they all follow. I wonder if Draka will be the final one or will we have to get another protagonist? It really feels like she's the last one right now but who knows with this show. The book being published in Jolenta's name as well wow. If the others are the ones who carry her plans Draka will be the one to carry on her heart and memories.

Another absolutely incredible episode from anime of the year holy shit what a twist.

So much anxiety from the start with the guards pulling over the carriage, the tinsmith excuse and letter came in clutch and then Draka stopping the guard from checking the carriage, quick thinking. That scene is also symbolic because Draka gives up her old green cloth and now dawns Jolenta’s, marking her as the successor of her heart.

Love the OST that plays during the captain’s speech

I knew things were going too perfectly and that something had to go wrong with the printing process, but I never in a million years thought one of their own would sell them out. What a bitch, what moral high ground do you think you have after killing so many guards and church officials? you going to hell too buddy 😂 Even wilder that’s Frei from the flashback who watched his own parents get betrayed and killed by the uncle.. Being a snake must run in his blood 🤷🏾‍♂️ that fight had some great animation!

Got some Erwin speech vibes from Draka. Obviously the group ain’t wanna hear it, but she’s absolutely right about that being the best plan for the mission’s success. It was never about everyone in the group surviving, just the mission. Can’t wait to see what happens next week and I also wanna see Nowak’s reaction to Jolenta death :/

That was a great episode! I'm confused about one thing though, didn't Jolenta rewrote the book from Drake's memory in the previous episode? So why are they still keeping Drake like she's still useful to them?

They weren't having much luck in escaping. I never trusted Frei (he was the only one of the three whose ideology was unknown), but I didn't expect Schmitt's supposed flashback to actually be his.

"Conviction can be a curse." What Draka did was incredible: she gave up the only two objects that connected her to her father and his beliefs. Jolenta inspired her, and now Draka carries that inspiration forward. Appointing Jolenta as editor was a very emotional moment. The same went for Schmitt: he chose to be more flexible and trust Draka's plan to save the printing press.

Knew something was up with Frey. I thought that kid was Schmidt but it makes more sense.
Tbh seeing your own parents die in a hand of a lunatic hertic, I don't blame him. In his position I would have done the same. Dedicating your life to revenge there's nothing wrong in here. The sheer cold blooded wit it took and for years to finally achive his goal. Honestly props to the guy...

But due to his antics now everyone in the organisation bar Draka is now dead. And everything is back to square one, just as things were going good. Schmidt made appropriate decision but at what cost.

I think the name Jolenta on front page may finally tik off Nowak about her, but still long way to go.

THIS IS PEAK!

These last episodes have been insane!
This episode we can clearly see that Jolenta's death meant a lot to Draka, and that Draka respected Jolenta a lot. Draka's convictions have certainly changed, because you can see now that the "money" she wants is more of making the world change, and make sure that Jolenta's memories can be kept in history (and everyone that came before her: Rafal, Badeni, Oczy,...). It's crazy how many generations we have seen in this anime, each one with the same objective: show the world heliocentrism.

I really liked the talk Draka and Schmitt had during the trip to the printing press machine. Not only showed that Draka finally has a conviction of her own, but that Schmitt is starting to change the way he views the world (that is later confirmed by the end of the episode).

Draka is so keen on being "Jolenta's heart", that she even offered her treasured coins that her father gave his life for, to serve to repair the printing press process. This character development is so satisfying to see, because it only feels natural. The same happened to both Badeni and Oczy, and I loved it.
Due to all of these acts that Draka did, Schmitt starts to understand that feelings are indeed an important part for humanity and how it functions. Just look at how Draka changed after Jolenta sacrificed herself.

Frei was indeed a traitor. Everyone was suspicious of him, but I'm honestly surprise that he was by the church's side, I just thought he had plans of his own! To kill the horses and destroy the plan is so heartbreaking to see, after 21 episodes, the heliocentrism was so close to be published... My biggest surprise, and something that I enjoyed a lot, is that the backstory we got from the boy back in episode 15 was actually Frei's backstory, and not Schmitt's! I especially enjoy this, because I always had a difficult time to accept that was Schmitt's backstory, because the anime was so vague about who was that boy, and that is unusual for this anime, and the boy really didn't seem like it was Schmitt either. But I honestly never thought it was Frei! Now, looking back, it can be kind of obvious it was him, but still, such great storytelling. They told us the villain's backstory and his motives even before the villain was introduced as that, crazy.

Frei was killed, obviously he was no match for Schmitt, but I must say that I can understand the hate he had for the federation, because they explained it really well with the backstory from episode 15.

But my favorite part of the episode was the end, because when Draka said there was a 2nd option, where they could all work together to save her, and then she would continue the process of publishing "Orb: On the movements of the Earth" (now the title of the anime makes sense), she decided to leave that decision to luck, since they couldn't agree on what to do. But in Schmitt's ideology, that wouldn't really be luck, but instead it would be God's will. And God's will was for them to not go with Draka's plan, and for all to run and see what happens next. But Schmitt picked the coin up, and inversed it, deciding against what he thinks is God's will, going against the beliefs he has. All of this due to how Draka changed after Jolenta's death, and what I talked about earlier.
THAT SCENE GAVE ME CHILLS! PEAK ANIME! PEAK CINEMA!

Can't believe the episode was over just like that! WE NEED MORE, I NEEDED AN 1 HOUR SPECIAL!
Also, we only have 4 episodes to go! It has been a great journey so far, don't you agree?

It's because Jolenta insisted to. Don't forget that Draka and Jolenta made an agreement, and in return of telling the contents of the book, Draka will be able to use the printing press. Schmitt suggested killing her last episode, but Jolenta said they had to comply with the agreement, and so Schmitt did that. Not only that, after what happened in the beginning of the episode, you can see Schmitt was starting to admire and trust Draka, and that's why when they arrived he also said she had to be part of the team when they arrived at the printing press. Also, having her means that they have a Plan B, in case something went wrong with the textbook!

I had a feeling that Schmitt gave off captain Erwin Smith vibes, since the moment he showed up in the anime. And boy, did he not disappoint! Carrying the legacy of epic captains from one anime to another. Hope Schmitt the best, but we all probably know how its going to end.

Felt extra sus as they foreshadowed Frei playing/inspecting with the prints in the last episode, knew he was a traitor the moment those showed up broken.

Draka carrying on the torch and showing that she is willing to commit to this new conviction, by sacrificing her old conviction for a greater cause. Cant wait to see what happens next. Peak episode!

The book looked to be printed, until it all got ruined...

This was yet another tense episode, and it really solidified just how tight-knit the Heretical Liberation Front is, with how they came together to support Draka in the end. It was not the time for false hopefulness, but for a plan that could get the mission done, no matter the cost. A real shame that they had to be betrayed by Frei, the kid we saw before the timeskip, but it does make sense that this happened. Yet another bump in the road for the spread of heliocentrism, and it might result in lots of casualties. We'll see who makes it out in the next episode, most likely. One thing is for sure, Schmitt has my utmost respect.

  • Jolenta said "I have made a promise to let her use the printer". Draka says "I have made a promise to post her letter". Both don't fail to perform their promises.
  • "I owe you." Yes, more than you think. The lead coins stained with orb chi (blood) are mementoes from her father.
  • Here comes a twist. I don't mean the betrayal itself. The man whose father was killed by a heretic/uncle when he was a child was not Schmitt but Frei. The author set the trap carefully to deceive us. The phrase "I'm giving you time for remorse..." is exactly the same one his father got from the heretic.
  • Schmitt turned the coin over by his will. It's an critical decision for Schmitt who had obeyed his god to date. It means he has turned the course of his way of life.

Great episode, Schmidt going against his own thought process to change the coin result to let Draka get out alone, next episode gonna be hard. I think I knew nor was feeling that Frei was a traitor, something about him was fishy. For those whom are unfamiliar the title page of the book is the Polish official name of this show "O ruchach ziemi" which translates into the official English name, I can't tell if Japanese is exactly the same or might be some differences. Also "Jolenta Wydawca" means "Jolenta is the publisher"

I've watched a decent amount of anime and this is simply one of the best series I have ever watched. All they have to do is stick the landing with these final four episodes.

Draka is pretty cold and badass. I was thinking it as a viewer, but she just straight up told dudes to sacrifice themselves. Jolenta's death has massively affected her dedication to the cause. It has been a joy to watch.

Also, RiP those innocent horses. At least they were quickly avenged.

Wow, I thought Frei was suspicious but I never once thought he was the boy from the start of the arc. Draka putting her fate up to chance or god as she put it was a great moment. Not only did it show her mental flexibility and respect for everyone in the room, but it inspired Schmitt to finally acknowledge her.

Jolenta's letter has to be for her father, right? I don't think he has enough power to help publish a book of this magnitude, but maybe Jolenta still has some connections to the astronomy group from her youth? Ahhh, this show.

Oh God when I read Jolenta's name as the author of the book I got goosebumps... like, wow... this journey... from Rafal to Jolenta... year after year has passed with so many people died and this book could be published even because of Oczy's notes... honestly I desperately hope that in the ending the book did get published... or at least a few pages with Jolenta's name.... and Nowak saw it... that would be awesome....

Convictions really come at a price and throughout this episode Draka was one who really paid with belongings, saving and change of plans. The printing animation was fascinating and with Dr Stone airing in the same season saying that it was on par or maybe better on that scientific in nothing to scoff about. Also, Frei's betrayal was something I had been expecting but what I didn't realize was that he was the unnamed boy with his father murdered. Finally, those dots are connected and onwards comes the plan for Draka to escape in order to find a way to publish that book.

And that book is titled "On the movements of the Earth". Befitting, captivating, inspiring, but most of all, revolutionary.

Frei reached where he did solely because he didn't work under anyone except his conviction, and that it became both his strength and limits which again proves Jolenta's prespective here, it deserves praise.
