| Frieren Fridays they’re finally back!!. I’ve missed this series. After a long two year wait, I feel so old now, this just mean time really flew fast.It felt incredibly nostalgic just into seing this again. This follows frieren, fern, and stark as they push further into the northern lands. What makes this premiere stand out is how it strips the characters of their greatest strength.By trapping them in a cavern filled with magic nullifying crystals,the story forces frieren and fern to rely on their wits and stark’s physical protection. It’s was great way the trio's bonds without relying on flashy spells right out of the bat. I don't remember that anti magic crystal bit from when I read the manga.Maybe I just forgor. But it could easily be carried back if stark just carries it and stays 3m from the girls, and it would even be very strong for him, since it'll neuter enemy magic and not affect him in any way. New season,new OP, lulu by Mrs.GREEN APPLE, and the return of Milet for the new ED,story of us, will bring you that nostalgic feeling just like the first season.The return of Evan Call’s soundtrack is such a masterpiece as usual. Studio Madhouse is back on production quality remains topnotch.The scenery is stunning, and there’s a noticeable sense of maturity in the character designs you can tell time is passing, even if Frieren doesn't always feel it. The biggest talking point right now is that this will only be 10 episodes long. This has left some wondering if the show will be able to fully adapt the massive golden city arc from the manga.(Well at 10 episodes, we probably won't reach Golden Lands. Considering the manga is on an indefinite hiatus with no word on when the next chapter will be I guess this is one way to milk the adaptation for as long as possible. With 10 episodes for Season 2, they can still get a Season 3 and a movie before they run out of content to adapt.) Another beautiful episode, the depth of meaning Frieren brings with every episode constantly surprises me. No doubt this season will be another great one,oshi no ko and frieren releasing in the same week is already so peak, also jjk being released this season has alot of bangers to watch and im concerning my time of sleep will greatly reduce but it doesn't matter this season's shows are so peak you don't need to think twice about watching. |

| Nothing screams Frieren is back quite like seeing her stuck rummaging around with half her body hanging out. At least this time it wasn’t a mimic, so props to her for that lmao. Jokes aside, it really does feel good to have her back on screen again. I still don’t know what Sein doesn’t see honestly. Anyway, the gang is back doing what they do best, wandering around in search of magical items. This time it’s a magic nullifying stone, and for once they actually hit the jackpot by finding an entire cave full of it... ...ofc, that luck doesn’t last due to a dragon showing up to ruin everything because naturally this is the same unlucky group of idiots we all remember. And speaking of remembering, you already know the drill, no Frieren episode is complete without a flashback to the good old days with Himmel. That whole sequence looked absolutely insane. Even with the director change, this show clearly hasn’t lost its touch. And yes, the feet still looking amazing as ever, phew thank GOD. Oh but yeah, poor Stark though. First episode back and he’s already getting the cold shoulder from Fern again. Classic tsundere behavior. Not that Wirbel ever had a real chance anyway, Stark is Frieren’s party’s warrior first and foremost, everything else comes second. Still, he probably should’ve taken Fern up on that offer earlier. He may never sell out the party in a fight, but he sure does sell when it comes to his game things in his personal life. Overall, an amazing return. The OP sounds fantastic, the ED both looks and sounds incredible, seriously it was stunning. Frieren Fridays are officially back, rejoice!! |

| Almost two years, and yeah, here we are again. Must say, they didn’t even try to recap stuff and all lol. But hey, this series in itself is kind of episodic, so it works right? It’s a long journey as well and yeah, these three live and go through all sorts of stuff, on an abnormally daily basis lol, as we’ve seen already. The good thing about every misadventure is how one of them gets to take a stand and prove themselves… … be it, Stark carrying the “girls” on his back and proving what it means to be the only man in their party lol. That was funny, I mean, they all have become used to stuff like that at this point. Makes sense why Stark doesn’t wanna leave the party too. Would’ve preferred if Fern actually gave the head pat there to Stark tho( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Pretty standard start, and tbh, it’s okay. Wanna see till where they’re planning to cover this season. Nice new OP and ED, but yeah, the first season had the better ones tbh. |
| Anime's modern-day masterpiece that is mangaka Kanehito Yamada and illustrator Tsukasa Abe's fantasy series, is finally back almost 2 years gone...albeit with a short run this time, and GOAT director Keiichiro Saito gone and replaced by fellow episode director Tomoya Kitagawa whom the 2 share experiences working together (since Summer 2021's Sonny Boy), now as supervisor and director respectively. Mrs. GREEN APPLE's OP is...honestly alright, while the visuals pop ever more all the same. Continuing the journey where Season 1 left us off, with Stark consistently earning Fern's disdain, and the immortal elf just doing the things she always does. But one wrong step that lands them in quite the trap towards an underground mine of sorts, which has monsters come after them and Stark doing his usual protection of the girl and the "old" granny under his belt. The rest spot at the open-air "hot spring", that of course, Stark got quite the diss remark by the ladies as usual. And since the end of the First-Class Mage Exam, seeing Wirbel and the others still living is quite the inspiration. And to Fern, the lotus flower bracelet that she's wearing, is a reminder of how she has come this far. Nonetheless, the 3-man party and Wirbel's party remain their contacts, and the journey continues on. Milet's ED is nice, and it's always great to see the ED getting its own star treatment. A slow episode for a start, but very subtle. |

| Comfy start of the season. Quality and pacing seems to remain as good as the first season so looking promising so far. Didn't like too much the new opening, but the ending was great. |

| Worth the wait. It's nice to see the characters again and this episode Stark got a lot of screentime. He served as a pillow for catching to girls made Fern angry again and somehow made things fine again. It's nice that he has earned his place in the party, As for Frieren sometimes i wonder how she managed to live that long but i guess having reliable friends is part of them. Fern also showed her character nicely again. |
| PEAK IS BACK. I already read the manga up to the end of this season so I'm just chilling. There's a drop on the art quality (zoomed out scenes don't have people's faces, some backgrounds aren't that detailed like in season 1) but it still has the same pace as the usual. I love Frieren, I love this series and looking forward on what they cook in 10 episodes. |
| The gang is back. The vibe is back. We are back to the pacing of the first half of season 1. I thought the new OP and ED are really good. So far OP2 > OP3 > OP1 in my opinion. |
| "JUST GET MARRIED ALREADY!" Peak has returned, started the season with all these Stark × Fern moment, all my hype turned into giggles, they are just so good together, they really are what could have been between Frieren and Himmel. Frieren is as beautiful as ever, a hundred screenshots are not enough for a single episode, especially that crystal cave, such an eyegasm (ignoring the fact that Frieren flashbanged me twice lol). The parallels in the OP between the old party and the current, then the running away scene, bits of tears flowing down my eyes ; - ; Still kinda sad that this season only has 10 episodes but, I'll take that over a rushed production, the episode flew by– I can't wait for the next one already! |

| That ending credits was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Last seasons was good, but this really stepped it up a notch with such a wonderful and unique sketchy art style. The opening was also well animated, but the ending just perfectly encapsulated Frieren to me. |

| Bit disappointed by the OP song. Was expecting a bit more from the band that did Inferno. Finished Frieren yesterday so didn't have to wait long and I'm extremely looking forward to this season. |

| Frieren is back, which is very surprising how fast it is to have the second season. Normally, I wait for years, not a year, to have such a good anime to have a season 2. The greatest anime of the decade, having the second season, what could be expected? A lot, actually. I have not read the manga, so this is basically just as pure as anime only watcher can go. But I heard the pace could be faster and more action-packed. I can keep the hope up with the teaser they give us This first eposide have not let me down. They keep up the quality with the first season, which was just crazy beautiful; it raised the bar of how anime can be. Tho I can spot the very slight difference, but it's just as good as I know, the OP and END are phenomenal. Now this first ep forcus more on the adventure side, which I wish they would do in the first season. And more of the stark shining time, gogo my boy. Frieren SS2 will be a treat to watch this season for sure. |

| genuienly every episode is a masterclass of animation, storyboarding, and overall direction; this season started off without missing a beat, and i am excited to see the next 9 episodes. i love how much fern and stark care about each other, platonic or romantic doesn't do it justice. |

| Frieren is finally back! Man, I missed this show. I wondered if Season 1 was actually as good as I remembered, so I rewatched it and yep, it really is. If anything, I enjoyed it more with the rewatch than with my first watch which is rare. And the first episode of Season 2 was also very good! Animation is top-notch as always, and the music and story still pulls on my heartstrings. Madhouse still got it. The OP and ED are great. Especially the ED. I still kinda miss the old OPs but I'm sure the new ones will grow on me fast. Sucks to still see Stark in such a sorry state. I think the main problem is still that he's the only guy in his party. Sein was a great addition. But at least Fern will be nicer to him. It kinda sucks this season only has 10 episodes. But since Frieren will have a stage in Anime Japan 2026 maybe Season 3 will come sooner rather than later. Anyway, it feels good to have Frieren Fridays back! |
It's hilarious how Himmel scooped Frieren up in a shoulder carry with like he's had practice with it, not to mention how smoothly it was animated lmao. Fern's face as she looked at her bracelet really warms the heart. |

| I missed them so much! They're finally back, and with a great episode too! It was incredible to see this group again, even though I'd already read the manga. Seeing it animated made me cry several times during the episode. I'm so excited for the amazing season that's going to be! |
