| The pacing and vibes feel off to me... I should revisit the early manga chapters to compare, but it's different from how I remember it. The constant swapping in still atmospheric shots doesn't work for me, just feels like a way to get out of actually animating the scene. When they finally do animate some high action it feels off... I'm so disappointed. Also the CGI elements are so out of place, fuck that fan lmao. If you're going to cut to it several times at least animate it. |
| Once again, I'm surprised by the fact that the housewife is still alive. You would think she would have been assassinated by now. However, I can see her being relevant to the detective's investigations in the future. Also, Yoshiki saying that Hikaru's coming inside of him did not help the fact that I thought Hikaru was assaulting Yoshiki in whatever way entities like that one do. |

| Yoshiki is conflicted... I'd have been like that a long time before him. Hikaru is not Hikaru, we all know it, but that creature is really evil? Probably, but there is still a part of Hikaru's memories inside. I still think Nanuki wants vengeance against the elders, but I don't know why, maybe some crazy rituals back in the day. |

| i was hating on the monster hikaru but at the end it got me feeling all weird when he showed such vulnerability and child like dependency. i feel like he is getting overwhelmed by real hikaru's feelings for yoshiki which has made monster hikaru all confused. anyway monster hikaru seemed to have felt really bad for what he did (this doesn't feel enough tho, he squished yoshiki's hand so hard that even a day later the mark won't go) so he should be a good boy for now. i'm not sure if he will keep out of yoshiki's business though what if he finds out who he's meeting with and what they talk about? its clear that this story would have been far simpler if they weren't gaybois anyway the mystery is getting deeper now that we found out hikaru's dad vanished at the same place too and the spread of some entity or whatever ever since the unoki left mountains. they didn't show the detective at all this episode. i want to watch more of him. interesting enough and it is convenient that its on netflx so keeping up. |

| Just in general, all of these things, Hikaru wanting to feel normal and all... It can apply to real life. Sure the premise is all horror and stuff like that, but it's still pretty nice. |

People sticking their noses in a little too deep. That parfait is not a parfait, that was a meal with a mountain of whipped cream and sparklers XD you get full on that. But I suppose their meeting did establish how the bad vibes are only gonna get worse. π their friendship now ruined by her intervention. Dude should know better than to outright break their thing off without a plan. You're not gonna fight a supernatural thing with your fists XD if you have to resort to that. So it wasn't enough with the ego centric, paternalistic way this story was put forward, and protected by online bots. Now we have attempted grape! WOW who ever wrote/designed this POS Just WOW! And let's triple down and let the victim forgive the aggressor! What awe-inspiring message there people!
For little things like this is why for the first time in decades support for the LGBT community is going down. Little projects like this are the perfect breeding grounds for first apathy in the general population. And then the ball just keeps rolling down from there on.

| I'm surprised people are shocked that this a gay horror story. I got that from the first episode lmao. What I wasn't expecting was the show to go all in and blatantly tell people what it's about (figured they would sprinkle the gay romance elements throughout the season).  |
