| Perfect ep Love how both Rintaro and Kaoruko took the initiative to express their feelings to each other. Love the mini backstory was done in such a beautiful and personal way. Dots are connecting from earlier eps. The confessions are so amazing to see. This ep adapted ch 37-40. While I expected for sum stuff to be skipped, there were sum stuff that I would have loved to see, but that is perfectly fine. 10/10 Kaoru Hana S1: 9/10 |

(and straight hair Waguri??? hell yeahh) this is one of the best confessions episodes i've ever seen. dayum what an episode, what a season ! can't wait for the next one. |

| 9.2/10 I literally don’t care that it’s cliche/tropey. Yes the art and the music carries hard, but when the characters aren’t being overly dramatic/apologetic (π iykyk) they’re extremely relatable. Whether it’s Rintaro leaning back on the fence making that anxious call, or Waguri freaking out over not being dressed up after weeks of trying to meet the man she’s been eyeing. And how many men have confessed because they don’t want to lose the relationship they’ve enjoyed? The character development of Rintaro is peak, while also highlighting social stigmatization of the schools. The perfect slice of life, not every story needs an intricate backstory with complex dynamics. |
| Damn, Kaoruko was too adorable in the yukata. The way her hair was done and the flower on her head.. what a dream girl. β¨β¨π Rintaro worked up the courage and proposed straight away. He is the man. It was so beautiful to see things from Kaoruko's side on how she fell in love with Rintaro even before he did. The new ed with those added extra scenes were cute. Can't wait to see this relationship blossom more in the next season. |

| What a date full of embarrassing moments π₯° The pattern was basically: forgetting everything > talking about this and that> eye contact > blushing π It was really fun and a bit weird, but I heard that’s normal for Japanese people. Telling the story from Kaoruko’s perspective was very interesting. Up until now, we’ve only seen the story through Rintaro’s eyes—we got to fully understand his weaknesses and growth, while Kaoruko seemed like a complete person in almost everything. But here we finally see that the real Kaoruko is different from the perfect image people usually have of her—she has weaknesses, too. After that, her reason for falling in love is revealed, which was kind of weird, but hey, it’s fiction π Altogether, this feels like a masterpiece in the slice-of-life category of anime, with amazing visuals and OST—thanks to CloverWorks for that π I’m really looking forward to season 2, and I’m also curious about Subaru and that boy who looks like L (I mean, Saku π ). Question for manga readers: Is it worth waiting for season 2, or should I just read the manga instead? |

Look I get the world is depressing right now I get that people want wholesome stuff but without the negative parts of life the happy moments just feel so hollow. I have finally finished whole anime it was masterpiece, they skipped some part on last few episodes but I am sure it'll make up in 2nd season if BD/DVD and merch collaboration sold well Here key visual by animators  For HQ x |

It's not possible. These thirteen weeks have been wonderful. Maybe I'm just speaking for myself, but the adaptation of this story filled me with so many feelings that, while I don't think they're solely happiness, I do believe they've been some of the most rewarding of my final days. This has undoubtedly been an experience I doubt I'll repeat in the near future. In short, everything seen this season has been some of the most fascinating I've witnessed in my two years as a fan of this beautiful story. I'm giving it a 10/10 only because it can't be rated much higher.
P.S. If the second season isn't announced this year, we'll be taking over Netflix Latin America. You've been warned.

Perfect ending to a perfect animeβ€οΈ I can't stop crying on how amazing it isπ♥οΈ That's how you do a romance anime. Absolute Cinema from start to end. Following tropes and delivering a masterpiece, kudos. Warra warra story. Last episode & summer festival always always delivers. Rintaro courage is so admirable. But Koaruko's persistence for months months was so cute and she finally won. So so happy for her. One of the cutest couple & in one of my favourite romance anime now, top 5 for sure. 10/10 AOTS and up there for AOTY It was above average for most of it but the last two episode are way too goated. I am glad I brought into the hype and Cloverworks did this justice, by country mile their best work this season.. As sweet and tasty the cakes Kaoruko eats..  Kino ending but no S2 announcement. Don't you dare. I am too lazy and busy too read manga give me more Subaru,Saku,Usami,Yorita,Rinato & Kaoruko... |

Man I did like this rom com at all to the point I find the current score insulting to rate this as high as “Bocchi”, “Cowboy Bebop”, “Dangers in my Heart” is absolutely ridiculous. After reading the manga (Yes I was an idiot and got caught up in the hype) I respect that the author wanted to create a straightforward wholesome rom com in an otherwise over saturated genre but I don’t think what they made is very good. A lot of the stupid drama in this series feels very awkward and out of place it kinda makes me think that’s the stuff her editors forced into the story. | Easily one of the most beautiful shows I've ever had the pleasure of watching. The episode itself wasn't really my favorite---there were a lot of still shots, and the whole "spend the last episode showing Kaoruko's POV" schtick felt like lazy writing. I'm already invested in these characters, so it was still super fun and cute and wholesome and lovely. But as a finale, it was more a calm resolution than a.... I dunno, another peak like episode 6 or 9, which impressed me quite a bit more than 13 did. Anyone know if there'll be another season? If this show continues with Cloverworks back at the helm, then I'll absolutely come back. Their triple threat this past season was incredible. |
| God. Anime so beautiful it just makes you smile and cry. Rintarou did not prolonged the situation and asked to talk about it seriously, a direct confession that just let his feelings out, no fireworks or other noise to cover it, just words of love straight to Kaoruko's heart. And as if their development from the first episode wasn't enough– they just had to reveal that Kaoruko's been crushing on Rintarou for a long time now, and it explains so much why she's always dressed up when meeting him and just how much he likes Rintarou, a girl in love is way too powerful. Kaoruko's backstory POV is just overkill.  It feels illegal that a season 2 wasn't announced, but it will definitely come someday. The quality of this was so amazing I don't mind waiting for a year or two for a sequel. What a romantic and fun ride this season was! |

| Ahh, the classic Summer Festival finally. The direction for this episode feels different from the usual episodes, and that means we get an important moment that will make viewers remember this moment when they think about this romance anime again. I like how Rintarou immediately tells Waguri that he wants to clarify his feelings when they meet again. Sorry, even though I like that Rintarou and Waguri finally confess their feelings to each other, my expectations were too high. For me personally, their confessions weren't as impactful as I imagined, but that's okay, I can still like it as it is. I don't know why, but I've always disliked the trope where the MC/heroine has met their love interest before, but the MC has forgotten about it and only the heroine remembers the moment because the MC saved her. The trope itself isn't a problem, but the issue is how the writer manages to make the trope a good part of the story. Personally, I still can't get on board with this direction. I always like it when the first meeting is shown right from the beginning of the story. BUT, we finally get to see Waguri's perspective after 13 long episodes. In this final episode, we see how Waguri tries to keep meeting Rintarou. So the question is, is this the romance of the year? I would say it's debatable. Is this a hot take? Personally, I feel that this anime is overhyped. I like the passion of the fans who have read the manga, but the hype failed to win my heart. I really, really, really wanted to like this anime, but it never worked out for me. But that's okay, everyone has their own tastes and opinions. I've been talking about this since the first episode, about the OST, which I would say is too forgettable for this anime, making scenes that should have been very impactful feel completely lacking in impact. Ahh, a little disappointed not to see an announcement for Season 2. For the final score, respectfully, I give this a 7.5/10. Even though I have a lot of criticism about this and that, I got a lot of smiles and laughs from this very vanilla anime. |
| This anime has absolutely been the best romance anime of the season and one of the best romance anime I have ever seen, it's just so... cute and wholesome and I love it! Also Kaoruko's voice whenever she is talking in a soft manner is so lovely she is like a little angel π |
| The mystery song that we all have been waiting for is finally unraveled. It's been a year since this song played for their announcement release trailer. Thank you Cloverworks for this wonderful ending of 1st season. |

| I don't know what I expected from the finale. But it was more beautiful than anything I could've imagined. I didn't think most of this episode would be from Kaoruko's POV. And wow, she has been loving Rintaro for a very long time. This was probably one of the best confession episodes I've seen in an anime. Rintaro obviously doesn't remember their first meeting. He has probably served a lot of customers so it's easy to forget plus Kaoruko was different back then. But I wonder what got her so down back then. Who made her sad?! Sadly, I guess it might have something to do with health because she mentioned a hospital or something? I wanna learn more. No Season 2 announced as far as I'm aware. With how popular this series got it'd be a huge mistake if it doesn't get one and fast. Although I wouldn't consider this one of my favorites, I still loved watching it. Thank you to the fansubbers. They're the real heroes. No thanks to Netflix. If a Season 2 is made, I hope it won't be Shitflix exclusive. The new insert song in the ED was beautiful. This was a beautiful season finale. I'll be sad if no Season 2 is made. But I guess this was still a good point to end the series if they don't want to continue which again would be a huge mistake if it doesn't happen soon. |
