| The first episode became a hype killer for me. Meeting some stranger on the streets and moving in together immediately? That's something you are going get in an anime only. Their meeting and sudden friendship came across as quite weird for me. |

Encounters are just by chance, and I think things would go differently for someone thats a runaway with no cash bonding with a street performer that happens to share your same interests, its not that it isnt convenient or anything but its also not some impossible scenario only found in fiction like your building it up to be. |

| A girl named Tuesday escaped from home, she took a train and went to Alba City. A girl named Carole went to work to a fast food restaurant, after an incident, she got fired and went to play the keyboard, there she met Tuesday. Tuesday's family discovered that she went to Alba City. An actress named Angela was taken by her agent, Dahlia, to Mr. Tao, a music producer. A guy named Gus is getting drunk in a bar, apparently he produces music. Carole took Tuesday to her department and they played their instruments, feeling a conecction and developing a song, they decided to create music together. This is an excellent episode, I absolutely enjoyed it. The characters and the story is settled down in one episode without cram of information, characters or other stuff, the chemistry between the two main characters flowed by itself and started a great conecction. This is the important stuff, a great episode with in the middle scenes showing details or other story progress. |

| Oof. This was an amazing first episode in my opinion. Very good pacing, built-up and introduction to some of the characters. Definitely my fav show of the season so far. Honestly hoping it's not yuri though. For once I wouldn't mind this being non-romantic. |

The notre damn catching fire with modern equipment during renovation and surviving candles for centuries. It is what it is, but to expect something completely realistic from Watanabe when he's always been a style over substance guy is comedic to me. There are going to be moments that will likely break your suspension of disbelief as we continue, but it's worth it for the visuals and music accompanied by it. Zankyou no terror taught me that, I expect the same and ready for it. Feel free to point it out, but unless it is some KH levels of what's the logic behind that, most likely not going to be a problem for me, just an observation I certainly agree with you. The visuals and music are great so far and worth the hype. And I am obviously not going comment anything about the plot after watching a single episode only as I believe it has potential and will certainly get better as the series goes on. The only thing which I want to point out is the fact that the establishment of their friendship felt a bit forced and the episode lacked some kind of "wow" moments. Rest assured that I am still going to follow it up due to my high expectations from it. |

| overall seems like this will be a good anime though the whole part of them meeting, getting aquainted writing a song together and already becoming bffs feels a bit rushed |

Everyone would be mixed up everyone causing there to be a need for a world language and I'm 99.9% positive it would be English considering how many people already speak English. 2.5) Who cares if it's 4chords western pop? The song was pretty good... 3) The character designs are a breath of fresh air from every anime that has the same generic character designs. Not sure how the designs are western-cartoon inspired because I've never seen any western design like this before. 4) Instrument models and backgrounds aren't ugly at all, I quite like the design. Why do you find them ugly, exactly? 5) I personally don't watch American entertainment because of leftist/SJW propaganda. I really don't see any in this so? Also the fact that someone said "the voices didn't match the characters" is hilarious because I actually paused the episode just because I noticed that the voice acting fit the characters perfectly.. |
| Of course she had to have her stuff stolen!!! Every time a girl goes to the city for the first time on her own... ; - ; I have to admit this was a bit too tell don't show for me since the pacing was so fast. It was like, I'd rather almost read this as a book at times. However, that doesn't take away how much I enjoyed this, and other things were beautifully captured visually, from the diversity on mars being greater than like any other anime I've seen, all the future devices, or on a smaller note the body language of Carole and Tuesday. Tuesday is excitable and tries hard and jumps the gun quickly before getting nervous due to her actions like when she decided not to sneak out the window, or rushed to the guitar before being adorably stiff while playing it. Carole is almost too expressive in how she poisoned her customers. You can see how free moving she is compared to the reserved nature of Tuesday in like, every shot. But they bonded together immediately. It was really cute. At first I felt this episode was almost too melodramatic but it quickly became evident how cheesy it's trying to be with the evil moms and hilarious character designs and instant backstories and all that so I found it more endearing after that! Overall it quickly gave us a view of the world, distinguished its duo, and foreshadowed Gus to become their manager! I take it Angela will be a bad-but-good-deep-down rival to the girls too, as a child actor trying to stay relevant with the help of an abusive mama. |

At first when I saw the guitar CG I was a little off put but when I realized it was to give an accurate animation for playing the instruments it made me appreciate it more. :) |

| i dont know if its just me or am i seeing things but.... it feels like SJW propaganda finally invaded the land of anime i wait for the day when ben shapiro-sama liberates anime anyhow the episode was ok my only complaint other than the one above, is that the background characters and their design looks too cartoon-like its 5/10 for me, as of now EDIT: PS: in the taxi scene where angela is sitting beside the person. at first i thought it was a woman and then i hear a man's voice so i was like ok, i've seen traps in anime before so nothing weird right? then angela calls him mama... |

| it was a decent start, i think.. The story so far is mediocre, the dialogs are poorly written, the characters are meh.. but the music is pretty good. I'll watch 3 episodes and then decide if is worth to watch more |

| The music was incredible and maybe just for this the show is worth watching. As for everything else though... it's rather tough. Knowing that there is great music ahead, it was a struggle of not dropping the series just to get to the music parts. The struggle was rewarded for sure but can I last 24 episodes? I'm not sure. It's not that the story is bad and so are the characters but rather this simply isn't a show that everyone would be interested in and I for sure couldn't care less about two random girls making their dreams on becoming music stars. If I was someone into this kind of thing then maybe I probably wouldn't be watching anime in the first place. |

| I got this as a recommendation from a friend, so I decided to check it out, and I was not disappointed! Both the animation and the sound is really good, and the story looks promising. Alba City looks amazing too. Favorite moment of this episode was when they were jamming, and things just suddenly... clicked. As someone who plays in a band, moments like those are precious, and they did a really good job at portraying that moment. Also, fun fact: Their instagram is real, and you can find it through a quick google search. |
