This episode was a rollercoaster of emotions and hilarity, starting off with the most entertaining visit to a haunted house. The squabble between Kyo and Yuki over who would protect Tohru, only for Momiji to swiftly steal her away, was just priceless! πŸ˜‚ And Hatsuharu turning the horror animatronics into his own personal soap opera? I was laughing so hard, my sides hurt! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

But oh my gosh, the spotlight definitely shifted with the introduction of the final Zodiac member, Kureno, and his budding romance with Arisa. Their chemistry and the immediate connection they shared just swept me off my feet. It's like watching a fairytale unfold amidst the chaos of the Soma family drama. Their story brought a breath of fresh air and a much-needed change of pace with a more mature romantic development compared to the ongoing love triangle with Tohru. 😍😍😍

And let's talk about Akito for a second—can he not? Every time he shows up, I find myself gritting my teeth. No matter how charming he might appear, his actions are unforgivable. He's turning into the villain I love to hate. 🀬🀬🀬

Each moment of this episode was a perfect blend of laughter, sweetness, and a hint of drama, making it an unforgettable part of the series. From the comedic antics at the haunted house to the heart-fluttering romance between Kureno and Arisa, it's clear that "Fruits Basket" knows exactly how to tug at our heartstrings and tickle our funny bones at the same time. I'm glad I decided to continue watching it, despite my mixed feelings for the first season! At least...for now. πŸ₯²

Well I wasn’t expecting Arisa to be a part of a relationship and it’s with a man named Kureno. Yet another one of the Sohma family and oh yeah I remember Arisa talked about meeting somebody at the convenience store she works in but I thought that was a throwaway comment, this is said encounter. He seems like a dashing guy alright, charming, clumsy but also very gentle as well. Even Arisa compared him to Tohru. Probably the more emotional portions of this episode and man that Akito, every time that person appears it’s always a sense of dread. On the other hand, the lunch that Kureno has with Arisa was very well done I think. We get an explanation on why normal things to Arisa are luxuries to him because as a member of the Sohma clan he doesn’t get to do those things often. He’s an interesting character for sure, I get the feeling it’s not the last I’ll see him.

On the other side of things, Tohru and the others visiting the haunted house did provide some lightheartedness there. I don’t know what Momji was expecting with Tohru just being scared of everything even if they didn’t look scary in the slightest. But Haru just telling the two of them the figures in this haunted house were all people in a melodrama story was just priceless. I love that Yuki and Kyo were the only ones finding all of this ridiculous. XD

Now I really want to see what happens next in these next couple of episodes. And it seems like we’ll get some development soon if the title is anything to go by. Otherwise great episode with a mixture of comedy and drama to it.
