| Never really got into it. I'm not an animation supremacist like half of MAL and to be honest didn't think the animation was as bad as some people here say. But the story never really was that interesting and the characters didn't deliver either. Tried to be cool and funny, but I don't think I laughed once. I think I'll pass on the sequel. |

| Wished we saw more gambling lol, seems like one more addition to the team and a final cliffhanger reveal that shows a criminal troupe are on their way to Sakamoto. So far, this series has been really outlandish and quirky but still a decently unique watch. The flashbacks were a bit repetitive especially the most recent one with the triads but it was still bearable |

| The gambling part against Wutang was pretty funny with Lu doing the love live card meme, Shin's brain overheating from reading all the thoughts and Sakamoto switching between several cards in one draw because he's too fast ahahah, now Wutang joined them, and seems like the top notch killers are here to target Sakamoto and his crew... can't wait to see that in part 2. Okayish adaptation overall, I mean it's not bad at all but it definitely doesn't do justice to the manga and we've been waiting so long just for that... kinda disappointing even if it remains good. |

| I would have liked a more dynamic final episode. (But I can't complain too much since it wasn't bad) More employees. Also, more enemies. That ending left me eager to continue watching... I'm definitely looking forward to the second season, which is coming soon. And for Heisuke to appear more often. Overall, it's an anime that manages to entertain and quickly moves you from one episode to the next. Also, although not all of them, many of the battles are intense. That was a surprise for me, as I expected this to be more of a comedy. I'll wait patiently for whatever else is to come and what it has to offer! |

| felt a bit lacking towards the end but still a fun ride. was hoping to have a somewhat tense finale but we got gambling. wouldve been awesome if they stretched out that last fight and made that the finale not too sure ill watch the 2nd season tho, it wasnt as funny as some of the other shows |

| A bit of an abrupt ending, but I kind of expected that with this being the first half of a split cour. Still, it was a fun ride—I really enjoyed the gambling arc with Wutang and getting a peek into his backstory with Lu. I can totally see why he holds her in such high regard now. And Lu having zero poker face was hilarious—yeah, it’s a bit of a familiar gag, but it still made me chuckle. Now Wutang have also joined our Sakamoto family after the mafia's lad began mutiny against the brain wutang. Once the Wutang storyline wrapped up, we got a brief but wild glimpse at the new villains. They seem absolutely unhinged from that short scene alone. The babe among them is okay, but I cannot get over her name being “Dump” lol. Definitely curious to see what kind of chaos they’ll bring in Part 2. And that’s it for now. I genuinely had a great time with this one, despite all the criticism floating around but honestly, I’m happy with what we got. If I had to point out a flaw, it’d be nothing. I love watching Sakamoto and the gang go all out in ridiculous ways, but I can't say I'm deeply invested in the whole Slur storyline—at least not yet. Maybe things will get more intense in Part 2 and change my mind. Also, I loved the OP and EDs—the music choices were on point. Hoping the next cour can keep that same energy. And now, the short wait begins—only 4 more days till Part 2 drops. Score: 9/10 on MAL. Finished: 11th July 2025, 11:19 Hrs IST.  |

| I had a lot of fun with this series, I enjoyed it way more than I expected. I like the characters and the humor, so I'll give it 9/10, because it was a wild ride. Great final episode and I like the new enemies at the end. |

| And so... part one of SD is over and I gotta say it definitely was a fun anime! I've heard a lot yeah abt the mixed reception on this adaptation but imo it was decent but at least I'm drawn into the story. So overall, 8/10. Can't wait for SD part 2 in just 3 days! |

Okay this was a lame final episode as Wu Tang is just not that interesting. He got saved by 8 year old when he was younger? Is this show trying to make me not take him seriously? I also felt like this episode was written by someone who has no ideas how gambling or casinos work at all. Everyone going all in felt like just wanting to get through this part quickly.
Now the other part...so the four death row and two of them are black. Fuck why do they have to look so cool though? I don't know if I can call this racist as everyone in the show is some type of criminal. So...I'll give it a pass. Now time to find someone to draw Dump for me.

| Wait thats the end? Wow I havent seen many anime end THAT abruptly. I guess I'll be moving onto season 2 then. Was gonna take a break to catch up to seasonal anime but that was too abrupt to end there. |
