| I knew about Amo's traumatic past even before I planned to watch the series. But it's one thing to know, and another to see it with your own eyes. I'm absolutely speechless. That "childlike" animation style symbolising her coping mechanism was an absolutely brilliant move. It feels strange to say this, given its content, but what a great episode. My favourite so far. |
| Something I noticed is that this episode seems heavily inspired by Utena. I'll do spoilers in case people haven't seen it. I highly recommend Revolutionary Girl Utena if you haven't seen it. I also notice that a lot of the people who cheered Rudo on, aren't around. What happened? Y'all were so smug about "gender equality" and "equal rights"? 🙃 |

| OMG THAT WAS HORRIFIC ;_; Poor Amo. Really disturbing stuff. But you can't sugarcoat CSA. At least he went SPLAT though. I predicted that she was going to murder him lol The scene of the "angel" flying was really gorgeous. The way this show can be disturbingly ugly yet ethereally beautiful...makes it very unique. |
