| I took a break from watching romance animes, but this so far will probably spark my interest again. It had almost every possible plot twist there could have been, but still it didn't feel pushed to the extreme. The guys new girlfriend is ugly af, I don't know why they didn't even try a bit with the design. Bonus points for the gaming setup, looks very clean. We'll see where will it go from here, will it be another cliche gamer guy romance type of thing, or will it have some sparks of originality throughout the anime? No idea, but I hope for the best. |

| The art is so beautiful and the vibes remind me of a K-drama. Akane is being really needy, but you're often not yourself after a breakup if you truly loved the other person. |
| Ha... this story might be more original than I anticipated. The nerdy-guy-meets-cute-normie-girl trope is pretty beat up, at this point. But the story of how they met is pretty cute. Plus, they didn't write his character as a simp who's only after coochie. In fact, he couldn't have looked less interested in coochie - which is cool in it of itself. |

| I picked this on a whim, I hadn't even heard of this when it was airing but gaming romcom have been popular in recent years, so why not. I don't particularly care for either of the main leads so far but maybe their chemistry will grow on me. The pacing is actually pretty slow but it felt like it managed to cram a lot in at the same time. The real twist is, Takuma actually wanted to date Yamada. 🤪 |

| Maybe this show gets better in later eps but it's personally hard for me to like the mc. The opening starts very similar to wotakoi but this character handles it so terribly, although maybe this is supposedly more realistic/relatable. After watching shows like wotakoi, romantic killer, and skip and loafer, its hard to like a naive wishy-washy character like the mc. I guess it's become my personal tastes to really prefer a mc with a strong core identity, but I'm sure people find the insecure self doubting character more realistic/relatable. |

| got wotakoi vibes from this and that made me really happy. i really miss that show. the op left me a little discouraged because i thought they were highschoolers and i've had enough of those kinds of romantic comedies. it was a relief to see they're already in college (at least akane is). akane is okay. she reminds me a bit of narumi in the sense that she seems tu always go to the wrong kind of guys and that's why she gets frustrated. and yamada is a tad bit too stereotypical so far, but this is anime and i'll take it. excited to see where this goes. i miss good relatable shoujo very very much. |
