Always with the ugly arse haircuts/hair color, tattoos, piercings, clothes. You could argue it's to accentuate the setting since they're in a trash world, but they could have just made them dirty. It's really tiring and irritating to see this gross character design all over the place. It's not cool, it's incredibly unappealing. I think the story here is interesting. I'm just so sick the visual assault nihilists subject everyone to.

| I just realized how awful Riyou's character design looks during the bar scene. She didn't even look human... more like a Barbie doll come to life or something. Riyo I know One Piece is infamous for making all their female characters either hour glass figures or blobs, but even they round out the characters hips and don't put giant gaps between the legs like they're an action figure or something! Putting that grotesqueness aside, it was a decent episode overall. Looks like the psycho villain has shown up and we'll get another Giver battle next week. |

It confounds me how they are able to manage to prepare full course meals in their environment, especially gathering fresh vegetation!
| Well they are the HQ of the only organization policing or keeping safe the entire wasteland. It stands to reason that they will have access to the best resources, especially as rewards or tribute given, for the sort of work they do and the role they play in society here. The various oasis cities could have underground hydroponic farms for all we know, or have been able to raise pollutant-resistant plants. There are some real-world equivalents. Think of the developing countries where people cook tofu on trash-fueled cooking vats, like Indonesia. Using contaminated water to cook street food, like in Bangladesh and India. Locals develop immunities to the toxins prevalent in these prepared foods and society keeps on going despite the environs they live in. It's not hard to extrapolate that logic to this world and its inhabitants. |

| I really was looking forward to the jumpscare at the end of this episode. Now we have covered up the first two volumes of the manga. There was a major difference compared to the manga. In the manga, Gob hasn't been introduced at the party already. He made his debut a little bit later. |
| ep 5 went crazy fr 😭 the cleaners getting trapped was already bad, but zanka pulled up and absolutely packed mud girl and snowshoe guy with that love stick... no diddy 💀 animation was smooth as hell too. then jabber shows up all quiet and creepy from behind like a jumpscare 😨 his vibe was off in the best way, and the voice line?? the audio mix hit perfectly. i’m so ready for that fight next week. 24 eps is such a blessing 🙏🖤 p.s. riyo is way too skinny… she’s not that skinny in the manga 😩  |

| There are gentle and kind people around Rudo now. The ones who don't look down on him. It's sweet. Zanka is so easily approachable whenever someone tells him Enjin wants him to do it. The Raiders are here, and that ploy was to bring Rudo out in the open. They want Rudo for themselves. Also, something about the Border. Zanka's fight was pretty good. But it's not over just yet. Fuck... Semiu... You're so fucking hot and beautiful. |

| Another great episode. I think the adaptation conveyed the welcome party rather well. It's the first time Rudo ever had friends. He's such a good protagonist by battle shōnen standards. It also introduces us to the general atmosphere at the Cleaners: raucous, laid-back, but also responsible when needed. I was not expecting a graffiti guy cameo (I won't say the name). Zanka vs. the two Raider lackeys was just alright in the manga, so I applaud Bones for going beyond and making it an interesting fight. The boss of these two lackeys are here as well; next episode is going to be great. I love how Bones captured his insanity. |

| Not sure what to think of the plot other than thus except so far survival in new a land, after binging up to the current episode. Kinda a cliff hanger with that dude with nasty claws at the end. Did kinda like the shot though lol. I will say the art direction is pretty stylized I like that a lot. |

| I forgot about last week and now I almost forgot to post this week as well. But fear not. I am here... to write about my hot though process because I just watched it. I want to write about my thinking process on that matter. The episode kinda of felt as though it was giving pieces to solve for later on. And building suspense along the way. I don't doubt with that cliff hanger there will be some insane clashing coming out next week. There seems to be a side quest type of villain approaching. Considering we're only on episode 5, with 24 episode total. I would guess that. AND ALSO, i have rewritten so many times because the fresh though I had is vanishing so unlike any other time when I prattle on about "how AMAZING IT IS" or when I go in full detail of how each character reminds me of certain aspect of another character. Something along that line will not be occurring in this instance. AGHH so i will just rate the show and move on T-T. Rating TIME Plot: 10/10 it just showing the ground work that will probably unfold next week. Characters: 10/10 I love the supporting characters, but it might be that they will die soon for the plot... FOR THE PLOT OST: 10/10 beep boop Theme: 9/10 is the theme... growth and over coming obstacles? Overall: 10/10 Its a set up episode with 0 flash backs so a 10/10 for that Anyway. Im going to go reset my brain to have an optimal memory when remembering what my thought process is so I can write it word for word |

| @Vindicater That would be a fair assumption but Enjin threw him to those scavengers to teach him how things work in there like how people there hate people from above, not just to test his powers, then when they got to the city and they had to go their separate ways Enjin gave him some money and reminded him not to tell people where he's from, and lastly when Enjin introduced the kid to the receptionist and she seems to find him weird and asked if she needs to know more about him or something like that and Enjin deflected that question basically withholding that info about him. Now all of a sudden everyone acts that the fact that Rudo is from above is common knowledge lol. I'm thinking the director or whomever decided to retcon the idea of hiding Rudo's identity. |

| That fighting style wasn’t bad, Zanka was much stronger. So, I thought everyone should be kind of bad people, in the end, they were thrown to Terra, but they don’t know much about the Sphere, so a great proportion of the community must have been born there. |

| Rudo is slowly forming a small family around him. Gris' words really lifted his spirits, and that scares me. Gris seems like one of those lovable secondary characters who end up dying. The way she put her hand on Rudo's head to cheer him up, and the secret about her amulet that prays for all her friends before missions... it gives me a bad feeling. I really hope nothing happens to him. I'm excited... Zanka is strong, but now that the enemy with dreadlocks has appeared, I'm not sure he can take him on. I still have some questions, but I don't know whether to look them up or ask someone, I don't want to risk spoilers. Are the Givers the ones with glowing eyes when they transform? Because the graffiti guy had the same glowing eyes, but he didn't look like a Giver; will he be someone important later on? And what's the obsession with the Sphereites? Aren't the ones who inhabit the Abyss thrown from the surface? I guess some were born on the surface, but why does Rudo seem to be the only Sphereite? |
