The use of 3D looks really awkward, imo.

Also, that ass in face scene had me rolling my eyes. When a PV is already giving off negative vibes, that isn't a good sign.

Hah and they said Mecha genre was dying...........i really like to see their faces now. They must be crying in a corner of some dark room after all these announcements.

2014 is becoming a great year.......a lot of Mechas, a lot of sequels and lots of awesome shows. The pv looks good too and the white Mecha looks great.

The name is "Shirogane" not "Hakugin", even if both words are formed with the same kanjis.

Confirmed at the end of the first PV.

Xebec did make one good mecha show ages ago (Dai-Guard), but I'm still not expecting anything out of this. I'll just wait for it to air and give it a go.

Every time I look at a mecha PV I'm like "damn those models looks amazing, maybe I'll give it a try" then when I give it a try "uhhh why the heck am I enduring a mecha? I'm not a masochist what the hell", after I saw that ecchi moment maybe I really give it a try

Please no more ecchi stuff on this mecha anime. Because what I saw in most of mecha anime with ecchi stuff was not good.
I like ecchi in some comedy anime, fantasy anime, action anime, romance and others .But not in mecha series.

Sounds great that KOTOKO will sing theme song of this series.

Waiting for more information before you judge it is probably a good idea. I didn't get the impression that that scene implied the show was going to be filled with ecchi/fan service. That scene was what, all of a few seconds in the video?

Instead, I got the impression they were trying to show that the guy was attracted to her. If it turns to be the next Highschool DXD with mecha, then fine, you can tell me "I told you so". But until that happens I recommend patience.

I actually think this one has a lot of potential. So Spring isn't going to be the only season with mecha huh? Summer will at least have this and Aldnoah Zero, nice!

It's true that there are a lot of shows that are not Mecha. But as a fan of mecha series I'm actually a bit concerned about so many mecha shows starting around the same time. As a viewer I'm excited and eager to watch them, but I wonder, will the fanbase be able to support so many mecha series? When they air simultaneously do they not risk splitting the financial support of fans who can't afford to buy all of them? I'm glad the studios are still willing to make them, but will they keep making them if some of them do poorly in sales? Ahh well, maybe I'm overthinking it.

I agree, it will be tight to outsell a competitor with so much shows airing/selling at the same time.

Well you do have some good points there. But it has been some time since we had a lot of mecha shows at the same time. Especially failed sequels like Aquarion Evol or rushed ending like Eureka Seven AO/Valvrave really got me down for a while. But Gargantia and MJP were great last year. I guess the Anime Industry are trying to do something different for a change and going with the more serious genres this year. I appreciate their efforts. Your worries are genuine but we just have to wait and see.

This season has almost something for everyone let it be mecha, shounen, sports, romance, sol, yuri,yaoi......you get the point. So i am getting a bit pissed whenever someone says a negative comment here about Mecha. I just hope they turn out well. A lot of them seems like they will have some serious stories. Also it's like a bitchslap to people saying "Mecha genre is dying"..........which i am enjoying a lot. I guess i am just too excited with all these announcement.

I'm looking to get into more new anime as I had such fun following the AKB0048 series in 2012 and 2013 as it aired, plus mecha is a genre I haven't explored yet (the Gundam series has a lot to it, and I'd prefer to ease myself in gently), so I'll likely be watching this.

At this point I believe that names like these are created by throwing a bunch of random letters together and hoping for the best.

+1. I'm looking at you Valvrave and Nobunaga the Fool. The butt scene put me off a bit in the video. Hopefully the anime only has very few instances of ecchi. In the series I've watched at least, ecchi and mecha don't go well. Just my opinion.

Yeah ecchi belongs in rom-coms, harems and such, the only fanservice I need to see are the mechs and other vehicles themselves and whatever equipment and weapons they armed with.

Yeah it definitely sucks about that whole mecha dying out thing. So Sachika Misawa is doing the ending but not appearing in the actual show. I'm starting to think her VA career might be done and we're just seeing her as a singer now cause it's been almost 2 years since she did Kuroyukihime and hasn't been anywhere near a leading role again since.
