| This series has a better story than Captain Earth. It has slow pacing, and doesn't go for the big flashy 'hype' kind of episode, but the combat situations/politics/social dynamics in it are miles better than in most shows of it's kind. |

Well, you should watch Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu before saying pretencious shit like this, because this show is not even close of being really intelligent in those already mentioned aspects lol Overall, this show as simple as Captain Earth's war between governmental organizations (one of those actually been controlled by a machine), actually, they even are kinda similar. Nothing to be compared to really great, consistent and well developed wars (like some of the "Gundam"s and especially "Muv Luv Alternative". In any case, even so, both are too "complex" to be understood by childrens, calling people children in the discussions makes you look like one yourself. Also, Tokyo Ghoul (manga is waaaaay better) has an infinity of sociological aspects and backgrounded analysis about them (stated by the character's situation and their thoughts about it: a fair prejudice that is no one's fault about how to deal with) that any show of this season wouldn't even be close to achieve. |

| I'm not saying this show is amazing or anything but good god everyone who's being a detractor of the series in this topic has terrible grammar. Captain Earth most definitely is worse than this unless it got a lot better after ep 12 but it was just such formulaic monster of the week it was boring. This is just slow paced and honestly a lot better story wise. Also I personally just dislike Tokyo Ghoul. Also don't drop a show before episode 3, its a general rule to live by because the first 2 episodes are generally about introducing the setting and usually more importantly the main characters. I'd say the story is probably going to wind up at 7 but is currently a 6 for me. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| I think it's quite good actually. It's a slowburn show. The animation and art are quite poor, yes, but I think the script is one of it's strengths. I don't think it's boring at all. |
| The show is good. Little to low budget thou. But I like the realistic style of warfare in the show and slow pace. But i´m out in only fast action shows. Want more anime to be like 26-50 episodes. Dislike 12 episods anime more. |
| It wants to be a realistic and serious war drama but it continuously falls under childish antics, weak writing and characters, as well as complete disregard of military logic or basic logic at certain points as the entire plot is reliant on lucky coincidences to further the plot. it had potential but at this point its shot itself int he foot so much that it will likely never recover especially with its awful pacing that wont let it get anywhere, slow pacing is good if your building up to something but argevellon doesnt seem to know what it wants to be or where its going so it just feels like padding than clever build up. As of now this is just the poor mans gundam MS team |

The slow-ish pace can make it a bit hard for some to chew through, but I'd rather have this than rushing blindly through another poorly developed plot. |

What has done damage to this anime is the fact that it is always going to be compared to Aldnoah, and thats not fair. Also, many dropped this anime due to the fact that the MC twice disobeyed orders from his superiors and didnt face any punishment at all. But I think this is a good anime. Aldnoah isn't even that good. I guess people are only liking it because Urobutcher's somewhat associated with it, as well as the OP by Kalafina. |

| I thought it was pretty good. Saimonji might have been the only character I've seen that doesn't do a retarded reaction face when someone yells at him that he's wrong in a pathetic attempt to instill melodrama and bring the series to a sickeningly cliche end. Instead, he goes, fuck you Tokimune you little sack of shit, and booms all of the units. This difference itself is enough to bring it above par. No regrets. No repentance. Class Alpha Male Saimonji for supporting (arguably main MC) of the season. +1 |
