| Hokuto started out as someone who could've actually been someone formidable in Cromartie but that municipal technicality made him descend into the ranks of the chuuni while everyone else eats it up. His evil dad may be considered as part of the Council, but he has no power here~ |

| Pretty good episode, could have been better. The story was funny, but the delivery wasn't the best (for the dub). Kamiyama was the best character in this, falling for all of the lies completely and so straightly. |

| Unfortunately, the gag humor really falls short in comparison to Gintama, my favorite series. The tsukommi in this is pretty straight forward and played a little too often for my liking as well. I'm barely laughing at all, which is really surprising to me. I suppose the lack of animation hurts it as well. |

| Even before his name and introduction by watching the OP, this Hokuto guy already reminded me of a delinquent version of Mendo from Urusei Yatsura. including unexpected coward moments. "there was a guy that looked like a... wrestler" And then, he noticed he entered the wrong school, started lying, being believed somehow, but soon starting to contradict himself Yeah, i was asking the same thing. Why that random guitar bit in the woods? LOL Yeah, all of this bunch of fabrications escalated quickly and it's entirely on you. For our amusement, because yeah, it's working. damn, didn't make it in time. |
