DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Second and last ova that makes this picture a duration of 39 min. approx., it is located two years after the previous one, in a seaside village, where Hikagi still looking for his friend Marou, when suddenly fighting ninjas appear. It will be the beginning of the end. -- Segunda y última ova que conforma este anime, de una duración de 39 min. aprox., se situa dos años después de la anterior, en un pueblo costero, donde Hikagi aún sigue buscando a su amigo Marou, cuando de improviso aparecen unos ninjas luchando. Será el principio del fin. |

Inexplicable said: Wow, a happy ending, really?.. didn't see that coming Really I think the ending was like when they bury the monster on an horror movie and the final shot is his hands raising from the ground.... so the guy was revived and last sentence was that being human was too boring, so he is going full monster again |

| i would argue this was quite similar to berserk.. it could be a possibility that miura was inspired by this... good watch for an old ova and a unique setting for that time as well. |

| It was okay. I respect that it obviously influenced Berserk and even has an influence in Ooku. Though that's it. It needed to breathe. The OVA is too short. Perhaps the manga will be better. |
| Never saw a seahorse quite like that one. Far less atmospheric and more hopeful than the first part, the final comes with lots of monsters, the usual trope of women held as hostages and a rather anticlimatic, rushed confrontation. Still, it remains a compelling and dark story of japanese mythology, war and bromance with great retro vibes and outstanding animation. Wishing this new ninja family a happy life together. |
