Welp, it's definitely that time of the year. Cultural festival preparations and the photography club is super busy. Interesting that each member is taking a role that bits suit for their skills.

Most important part of the episode is how Hitomi falls under a time gap. Honestly, I was kinda expecting trouble to appear eventually but didn't want to see it happen during such a time. Hitomi is really lucky to have someone as kind as Koharu to help her though.

I love how excited Kohaku was in the beginning when she was explaining how great the magic event was gonna be to the principal. Such a delight. <3

Looks like this show will indeed end with Hitomi going back to her time, it's gonna be a sad fairwell. :(

I guess the last scene was really nice but I'm expecting a very bittersweet ending now.

The time magic is taking it's toll and Hitomi didn't even notice but it's hard on the others.
The ending of this episode was really nice Hitomi understands the situation but she also understands her feelings now.
And the question is will the remain together or will they part seeing what's happening.

Oh my god. This was a really strong ending. I doubt there's hope for a good resolution of the romantic situation. Still, I like them both together so much, I wish it won't be overly sad at the end.

I don't know how to feel about the show
I feel like there are a few plot threads that needed an ending(Like the Asagi one)
Again when the show focuses on Hitomi's disease, The colors and the visuals it is amazing, and the last scene is a perfect representation of everything that works in Irozuku Sekai
But i don't know if i can connect with the drama and some of the character writing feels weird
I feel weird
I Think i like it
But i am weird

The final moments have begun which everyone feared.
Hitomi finally having to be sent back to her timeline with her life on the line. That melancholic feeling is starting to kick in.

That Final Scene where the build up started and the music began, it was so emotional and beautiful.
The best scene happened, i was almost crying for joy.
I mean after 11 Episodes FINALLY!! Even if it was a hug, so sweet and heartwarming.

Just please don't let them separate.

I hope kohaku can pull something amazing at the end, because the future kohaku definitely had faith and reason to send hitomi back.
Last two episodes left, please for the love of god make it a Satisfying ending without hitting us with the Feel Train

I was not expecting her to disappear like a videogame glitch. lol.

I like the spell Hitomi cast at the end. They didn't translate the message in the paper, so I will do it. It said 'aitai', which can mean 'I want to see you' or 'I miss you'. The literal meaning is 'I want to meet', but this translation doesn't have the emotion that the Japanese word has.

Apparently, they can see each other's rooms. Creepy!!

When I was little, I also used to turn the lights on and off repeatedly. But, for some reason, after a while, the lights would no longer turn on. I was half expecting that to happen to Hitomi and Yuito.

I am glad they told us where they get the hoshizuna from. Apparently, it's exactly as the name says. It's sand (suna) found under stars (hoshi).

It's sad that only two episodes are left. I wish this was longer, and had more time to world-build.

Wasn't all this adressed last episode? That her trauma is because of her parents?

Btw, love the way the ending song was used, so powerful moment.

Damn, it took the show 11 episodes to blow me away but it finally did. This is the P. A Works I know and love

Basically this episode did everything that I wanted it to do, something big was happening so all the characters had to react somehow and that's what happens when something is at stake.

Beautiful episode, I'll raise the score to a 7 because it was worth watching the 10 first OK episodes for this

Most of the time I feel she don't have that color blind problem to begin with (seeing through very long distance light in night etc etc) and if so I wonder how will she resolve this problem before going to time magic since Kohaku seems fixated sending her back. Also if she don't fix this then her this time travel journey will end up all in vain.

Anyway this show has been advancing plot through throwing random plotline like last episode we learned she had actually mother issue (which doesn't fit well not to give this info earlier since this was her main issue caused her to changed) and then that love triangle and now time gaps. At any rate I am assuming there will be something special about the ending.

This episode was great and I'm sobbing at how sweet Yuito and Hitomi were. I REALLY don't even want to think of the possibility of a sad/bittersweet ending. I'm hoping Kohaku will understand Hitomi's feelings and will try to use magic to make her stay permanently with the sand clock and magic sand thing, or maybe Hitomi's magic could also play a part since she is actually quite powerful as well. Another possibility could be Hitomi actually going back to the future, but figuring out a way to go back permanently with her own power and Granny Kohaku's. I think there are plenty ways to make it work SO PLEASE P.A WORKS, make it a HAPPY ending ;0;

I won't be able to cope with two sad endings (Banana Fish is gonna f*ck me up next week).

I guess Hitomi's time is really up for that time line, nothing lasts forever girl.

I think the time to sort out her feelings with Yuito has come, judging by that passionate "I want to see you" moment it is near. But I don't feel the strong love coming from Yuito though, I feel like they're being patched together. Shu really loved Hitomi, but because Yuito showed her that drawing now she's in love(pathetic).

Anyways an alright episode,

In fact, the whole paper plane scene is definitely my favourite scene of this series. When the second plane went down instead of steady to his house and i knew what was going on, i got goosebumps.

"Time gap" is starting to appear and upon seeing that i have a feeling that it looks like the time is nearing for hitomi to back to her real time and guess its right, that time gap is a symptom of time magic starting to fade off. And because of this one Kohaku is now rushing to made that time magic so that she can return hitomi back to her real era..

Well its a sad one for the Magic arts photography club since they will also have an event within that span of time. Ohh i am so interested in what will happen in the final 2 episode of this series..

By the way i love that paper plane part (the last scene) between yuito and hitomi. And you could just feel the sad emotions coming, so be ready...

Things became dangerous for Hitomi.
It is a shame what happens to Hitomi, especially now that everyone is very excited about the school festival, also it´s sad to see that Hitomi must leave, since at last the girl looked happy, but the temporary gap can take Hitomi forever.
Kohaku is the one who must have the biggest emotional load, the pressure to perform such a powerful magic and the danger that her granddaughter runs must have her very worried.
I liked seeing Kohaku's grandmother give her encouragement to help Hitomi and I begin to understand why the Kohaku of the future did something so extreme to help her granddaughter.
The end was wonderful, I think the scene of the paper planes was incredibly executed, clearly Yuito and Hitomi do not want to separate and their feelings were more than clear.
I know that the last two episodes will be very hard to see and sad, because we know that Hitomi's abrupt dismissal affects all the members of the club.

but lol i wasn't prepared.
Hitomi and Yuito's scene was so heartwarming and beautiful. Praise to the director and animation, gosh, how I love P.A Works, definitely my favorite studio.

btw, NO ONE can tell me otherwise, I'm already convinced that book store guy idk is going to be Kohaku's husband, I just know it.

At this point now Hitomi has to be sent back. She might get erased from existence.

The question is though will she retain her memories and visit these friends once she goes back to the future?

I loved the last scene where Hitomi hugged Yuito. Hitomi is feeling the pressure of saying goodbye even if she doesn't want to. Neither Yuito <3 If possible I would like to see Kohaku helping Hitomi to stay and not send her back to her time. I mean she looks happier there! I don't know if going back to her time will have to happen, but seeing Hitomi's state doesn't surprise me :( Let's hope for a good ending at least.

The feels ;_; Bittersweet ending.

Strongest episode of the Season so far, in my opinion! Finally, we are getting on with the plot and what a way to set the platform for the finale episodes!

Looks like Granny’s Kohaku’s magic is fading away now causing these flunctuations and this is causing Hitomi is ‘disappear’ every now and then because of time gaps. Another interesting bit is that the second disappearance clearly took a longer time and affected Hitomi more as she fell asleep this time, I wonder if these are all deliberate planning by the Director here. If so, things are looking really bleak at best, if you ask me.

Kohaku is seriously worried about Hitomi’s well being and is unsure of her own capabilities, meanwhile the others are trying their best with whatever little they can do. Asagi, poor girl, can’t take all this and who can possibly blame her for it? She witnessed this happen right in front of her without any idea beforehand, after all. I’m glad this finally prompted Yuito and Hitomi to finally at long last to take action, and it was brilliantly done. Really heartwarming and sweet hug there, I’m looking forward to seeing more of the two together now. When the ED music kicked in, I was sure some tearjerker or a really heartrending scene was to come and I was exactly right! It was nice to see the development with the messages through the lights on and off and the paper planes, Hitomi is really struggling here with sorting her feelings out no doubt.

I wonder who that person that Hitomi consulted upon was though and if we’re going to see more of the big shot professor. It’d be really nice if Kohaku can get to summon some really top magicians for conducting this rather risky and uncertain plan. Also, who was that guy she asked for hurrying up the delivering process, I don’t recall when that person last received any screentime.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing what the next two eventful episodes will have in store for us! I’m hoping for a not-so-bittersweet ending but that route, at the moment, seems much too likely and appropriate. Regardless, here’s to hoping the next two episodes will be as good and if possible more gripping/enjoyable than this episode!

This episode is classic P.A. Works at its best.

From the moment Hitomi's time was up, fading away momentarily, losing her memories bit by bit and back to her monochromatic eyesight again, it felt too fast for plot reasons, right up to the point where everyone was helping Kohaku gather time sand and to help send Hitomi back to her own time. Never explained much, but I guess if the goal was that alone, the producers succeeded in that.

Got the shock that Hitomi faded away right in front of both Asagi and Yuito, damn astounding.

But the blissful moment was the bittersweet ending with Yuito and Hitomi's hugging while Nagi Yanagi's full ED playing in the background, simply just captivating.

2 episodes left, let's see what this show has in store for us left.

This episode was amazing especially the ending it had me in tears. The work out into these episodes can be seen clearly. From the umbrella scene to this paper airplane scene. At the same time this anime is falling in the trap of love being Conffesed/shown late in the anime but for this anime at least to me it fits perfect.
Also let's get ready I think it's going to be a bittersweet ending which is going to suck.

So the time magic that was cast to get Hitomi to the past, seems to be running out and Kohaku instantly trying to find information about what's going on. That reply mail was a bit hard to read, realising that Hitomi's time here can end at any time...

Seeing Kohaku so cheerful and excited about the culture festival and then so sad and worried about Hitomi showing those symptoms was quite emotional. I love how Kohaku is not hiding it from Hitomi, straight out telling her what is going on with her and what needs to be done to prevent anything bad. However she should have said something sooner to the others. Yuito experiencing Hitomi dissapearing in front of him...

That hug at the end... I am not crying, you're crying!

Hitomi's time is almost up now, since she's starting to disappear randomly. If not dealt with, she'll be stuck in the time gap, which would prevent her from going back to 2068.

Because of that, the tension and drama between the whole cast due to this sudden development was high, but also very well done, too. They still want to help Hitomi with her problems and also want to go ahead with their plans for the culture festival illusions, which shows how much dedication the group have now. =)

The last scene, though was powerful enough to send shivers down my spine. Not just because they extended Yanagi Nagi's powerful ED song, but how Yuito and Hitomi communicated with each other. First with Hitomi's flying paper planes, then led to them running into each others arms at the end, showing just how much both wanted to see each other right there and then.

Best episode of the show so far and one of the strongest episodes this season for me. The last two episodes, if done right, should be very memorable. =)

Somehow it's quite strange that no one noticed but ...

They were looking for Hitomi when she disappeared for the second time ???

Is it ok ?

I mean, she disappeared in a time gap, said Kohaku, which means, she isn't in this world at that moment, which means, they will never find her, ... until she reappears, which might not even ever happen. So they are looking for someone who doesn't exist (in this timeline at that moment) and might never come back (in this timeline) and if she comes back ... well ... at least after a long search they managed to use the few neurons at disposition and guess that she could come back at the same place (and of course she's playing the sleeping beauty there).

Also very convenient that the elephant in the room is addressed with warning signals. Just think about it. She disappears now (beginning of episode 11). End of the story.

and thank you typhoon for helping with the sand overnight!

This is just bad. You can't praise an episode written like that, even though I can understand most of the people just remembered the ending.

Now this was the kind of drama I was expecting when I started this one!

Hitomi was finally able to connect with people, she was finally learning to love magic, she was finally seeing colors, and I dare say that she even fell in love. But now the magic that maintains her in that time and place, which are so precious to her, is fading, and she will have no choice but to go back to the future, even if it isn't what she wanted. This is pretty sad for sure.

Kohaku is also feeling the pressure, her future self was the one who sent Hitomi to the past, and she came to love her future granddaughter so she might be feeling guilty because Hitomi is in danger of simply disappearing like this. I also understand both Asagi and Chigusa, in their place I would be inclined to cry, but at the same time I would know that it wouldn't solve anything, so it's definitely better to try, and enjoy what little time they have left together.

The frame with Hitomi all alone watching them from a distance was poignant, and the last scene with Hitomi and Yuito running towards each other was so beautiful. It feels like it's the end already but there are two episodes left so I don't really know what to expect from them.

Damn, so the time magic running out in the case of a living person is not sending them back to their own time but getting lost in limbo? That's cruel as hell. Also Hitomi losing colors again :(.

They also have to figure something out for Yuito because hearts will be very broken at this rate.... (if they could send him to the future that would be neat, we still don't know if getting stuck in limbo would be a problem in case of going forward in time).

Glad the hug happened.

It's about to end, guys. And we might got sad ending. Sad but must do.

So, Hitomi is lagging due to bad connection suffering from time disparity due to magic time that future kohaku used to her. So the best way is to send her back to the future ASAP. Yes I know, It's too fast, even we don't see our ship sail yet :,(

What we can do know is to wait, hope that in the next ep at least there is a chance our ship got short sailing. Yes, this has 13 episode, so anything can still happen you know.
