Violet Evergarden Gaiden: Eien to Jidou Shuki Ningyou was originally planned for two weeks. However, a huge turnout and sold out screenings resulted in an extension to three weeks.

But now it has already entered Week 4 with no slowing down and expected to run on the theaters much longer as it is expected to go beyond a month of screening!

So much love! Thank you, everyone who has gone to the screenings!

I'll have to wait a few months for the blue ray cause I live in the isolated Australia where no anime movies go.

@shanimebib, I'm proud to say that there was and hopefully will be lots of support from here in (Mainland) China too!

It was beautiful to see each and every one in the theater, except for one man in a rush, staying back through the credit scene and the ending theme in its entirety! I've never seen that happen here ever throughout my six and a year half years' stay here (e.g. for Tenki no Ko, I was literally one of three remaining by then), honestly. People were putting on their coats and getting ready to get off once the ending theme finished and you could see just how touched many were just by a glance (red eyes, tissues on their hands etc.).

But the thing that pleased me most was seeing a couple of people bowing in appreciation. I didn't think anyone aside from me would do it but that really was incredibly moving to see. Simply goes to show just how wonderful and meaningful KyoAni is to us.

I just reached home but my eyes are still in terrible condition, lol. One half-packet of tissue apparently didn't do the trick for me.

Happy Anniversary to Violet Evergarden by the way!

@_MushiRock11_: Ii na~ you got to see it already. Thanks for sharing your experience. Will wait for my opportunity to see it.

TV anime will get a rebroadcast in multiple stations in Japan as well. :)

Yup, one of the few times we got such a golden opportunity here. I've heard there are plans for the upcoming Violet Evergarden Movie (in June/July) too so what a time to be here!

And thanks from my side too, I needed to share this somewhere and I'm glad I could do so!

Yeah, I found that out from one of their Twitter posts. I'll probably go for a rewatch myself in advance to the upcoming movie.
