| I dropped cautious hero after two episodes. Why? because I hate forced humor and I'd rather watch this silly isekai parody for animal lovers ;) |

| Cautious Hero for certain. Kemono Michi uses the same handful of jokes over and over again. Main character is incredibly unlikable. They didn't give him a single redeeming quality. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. Even the animals he claims he cares about he really doesn't, all he wants is to collect them, use them and keep them in cages for him to look at and drool over or sexaully assault. At least Cautious Hero does running gags better and doesn't entirely rely on only running gags. In Cautious Hero there there are times where you will not exactly know what to expect from Seiya, you just know it will be ridiculous. But with Genzou, I know exactly what he is going to do in the anime before he does it because he always does the same exact thing. In fact, all the character in Kemono Michi do. And at the very least, Cautious Hero at least has a more interesting story to go along with the silliness. |

| They are very close. The Cautious Hero is a discount KonoSuba without understanding its strengths. Flat jokes and no tension, while Kemono Michi is just becomes very repetitive barely half way through. It didn't really do anything with its characters other than reusing the same gags again and again. I'd still consider than an improvement over the manga. After about half of the Cautious Hero and finishing Kemono Michi, I'd say the former starts worse but has the potential to improve above the latter. Still I wouldn't expect to see worlds of difference between them by the end. Both are mediocre. |

| Well, I'm not even watching Cautious Hero so my vote doesn't count. I did enjoy this series and I found it to be pretty dumb. |
| I like both but Cautious Hero quite a bit more...probably for character reasons. |
