 The official website for the TV anime adaptation of the smartphone RPG Hortensia Saga revealed main cast, staff and the first promotional video on Monday. The anime is set to broadcast in January 2021.Cast Alfred Ober: Yoshimasa Hosoya (Shingeki no Kyojin) Marius Casterede: Yui Horie (Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai) Maurice Baudelaire: Kenjirou Tsuda (Boku no Hero Academia) Nonnoria Foly: Ueda Reina (Kimetsu no Yaiba) Kuu Morimol: Aya Uchida (Black Clover) Deflotte Danois: Yuuichirou Umehara (Ahiru no Sora) With the exception of Nonnoria Foly, all cast members will be reprising their respective roles from the mobile game. Staff Director: Yasuto Nishikata (Killing Bites) Series Composition: Rintarou Ikeda (Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin) Character Design: Takayuki Onoda (Penguin Highway key animation) Music: Zenta (Venus Project: Climax ending theme composition) Producer: Yoshiki Satou (Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden (TV)) The anime was originally announced in December. LIDENFILMS will be producing the series and rock band MY FIRST STORY will perform the anime's opening theme song The series is based on Sega's Hortensia Sage: Order of the Blue Knights, a popular free-to-play mobile role-playing game on Android and iOS. | Damn, that's a top-tier Seiyuu lineup right there! Sadly, the Staff doesn't look as appealing on paper and the PV isn't suggesting a dime by any means but I might just give this a shot solely for the former. My First Story handling the Op is definitely another hook. |
