| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mannnn poor Sana.. Every time she switched from her usually-hyper tone to a more serious tone in previous episodes, it always just felt so bizarre to me. And then we have episode 14 which knocks it all right out the ballpark.. This episode really leaves me wondering how much of her cheerful personality was only a facade. Also, could somebody specify exactly why her mother finishing her manuscript would destroy the mother-daughter relationship they've both built? I probably just missed the reason to be honest haha. Or maybe that's a detail revealed in a future episode..? Hm. |

| @aoiaoi_ I don't think we're supposed to know exactly why at this point. It feels like a bombshell that they're saving up for a future episode. But the clues are there that this whole world is a facade. Already we have her "pimp" being in love with someone else. I feel like her life is due for a bit more deconstruction to set the stage for the obvious romance that's coming. |
