I thought this was a continuation of the Ballroom anime https://myanimelist.net/anime/34636/Ballroom_e_Youkoso but it doesnt seem so. It feels so copy pasted

There are many soccer anime and they're also not a copy.

I just read the plot summaries for both and they seem pretty distinct. They're not even the same type of dancing, Ballroom is obviously ballroom dancing and Dance Dance Danseur is ballet.

This sounds interesting. I hope we get second season of welcome to the ballroom and this anime to be good

No,it's "ballet". I think many people must misunderstand and think that they're copied version of ballroom e youkoso

Yea looking at the trailer they look extremely similar. Personally the visuals look a little worse than ballroom's but I'm still curious about it.

Do you even know what is copy paste? Copy paste means it's exactly the same.
First, can you see the title? Do "Dance Dance Danseur" and "Ballroom e Youkoso" look similar to you? How can you think this is maybe the continuation of Ballroom 😂 Second, this is ballet, not ballroom dance. Third, the art style is different, it's unique to the author, personally I never see art style similar with her (ballroom e youkoso has different art style with this, just look at their eyes, I know it's George Asakura's manga adapted into anime the moment I see the key visual because of the eyes). Fourth story telling, I haven't read this manga but I have read the author other manga, the way she portray emotion is so unique, I don't know if she can maintain that story telling though since usually she makes shoujo manga and this is seinen.)

Just because Ballroom e youkoso aired earlier, people call this copy paste. I remember when Mashiro no Oto aired and people call it copy paste of Kono Oto Tomare even if Mashiro no Oto's manga made much much earlier than Kono Oto Tomare.

There is no copypasta here. It is not so difficult to understand that ballroom dancing and ballet are two different things.

Ballroom is about competitive ballroom dancing. DDD is about ballet.
