| I've been thinking of slice of life lately. So, I made a thread about Toradora, and the results were interesting. So, I'm making a similar one about Mob Psycho since it used to have the slice of life tag and I predict that people are less likely to think it's a slice of life anime, but I can't say I'm good at predicting. |

| A good take on SoL, while keeping other themes, would be Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction (manga only for now, TV show coming soon). The main difference between these two is that, while both of these has some 'unique' settings (one has aliens, another has ghosts/super powers), DDDD is way more focused on the characters' everyday life, and Mob Psycho has its main spotlight on the action/fight/drama. I think this pretty much sums up my opinion on SoL tags? |

| Slice of Life is a tricky genre to pin down. It often is not a genre by itself, but often pairs with mystery or detective genres, where a plot can easily be self contained to a few episodes. My opinion is that Mob Psycho 100 is not slice of life, because many of the characters and plot points carry over into later episodes, meaning they are not self contained "slices". |

If you got eye's then i think you can clearly see it.... you know you shouldn't immediately trust what MAL categorizes. for example, MAL doesn't have the ecchi tag on My Dress-Up Darling, even though it's blatantly an ecchi show |

| School life might be an appropriate tag, but slice of life doesn't really fit here, there is some drama and coming of age moments, though. |
