I remember coming across your Medalist review, then your Shoushimin Season 2 one, and I just now read your mono review. So far, you're 3 for 3 lol. I’ve found myself agreeing with pretty much everything you’ve said. The only exception might be your point in the mono review about the photography aspect being almost non-existent at times. While I agree, I think that specific issue made me view the show a bit more negatively than you did, which I talked about in my review. Still, I really enjoy your reviews, and it’s been cool seeing how similar our opinions are. That 71% affinity backs it up too lol

Did this @Seansy really come to cry on your profile about my disagreement with his review? You two were literally the only reviewers I personally disagreed with, it's not like I was spamming everyone. He didn't get my point either. I wasn't defending Demon Slayer (see my score on the most recent seasons, for Gods sake) but rather pointing out the hypocrisy of those who despise people for finding DS amazing while praising another generic but pretentious shounen that has nearly to no plot, aimless themes, inexpressive two-dimensional characters, it relies on animation and "cool moments" as well, and it doesn't even know what it wants to be (a shounen action or an adventure drama). Yet, instead of responding to my criticism, he just called me "stupid" and "pathetic" while I never insulted him in any way (at most I reflected back to him the stereotypes in the review, as I did with you). Does he really know what "flamming" means? It's really shocking to see a self-proclaimed "middle age who has kids" acting like this.

Anyway. If so many DS fans really say that this anime is "peak storytelling", then I really have been living under a rock, because everyone I know knows that this is definitely not one of the show's strong points. Now, go on Reddit, almost any area of ​​Twitter or right here on MAL to disagree that Frieren is "one of the best anime of all time" (or even THE best), or at least write a review and observe the reactions. Do the same with other animes in the Top 10 and observe the difference. Call Frieren's fans what you called DS's, and see how many support you. It really doesn't seem like I am the cave dweller.

Not exactly surprising that the Demon Slayer fan base wouldn't appreciate Frieren. They can't tell what real peak story telling is unless its constantly blasting colors trying to induce epileptic seizures in their brains. Anyways, great Demon slayer review. If I'm being honest, I skipped every single episode of the new season minus episode 8 and I still felt like my time was wasted by the end. Never before have a seen such an utter cash grab to setup a movie in my life. They hyped up the run time for the last 2 episodes only to spend 15 minutes of it with Muzan walking like a Bollywood drama scene. Once again, we can't have 5 seconds of real time without going into a slow-motion scene or another flash back. The season was just stalling for the movie. They even spent the last 10 minutes showing each character one by one falling just to make sure the audience knew it was in fact all the demon slayers taken to castle, LMAO what a time waster yet the top review is "PEAK" spammed over and over again to brainwash the normies.

Yeah, I can understand why people think Frieren is overrated. It's not for everyone and definitely has areas of criticism for the characters and slow pacing, so I don't begrudge people giving it a lower score for that, but comparing that to this Demon Slayer season is just insane to me lol.

This ShadowUnown guy flaming people for giving negative reviews for a filler filled training arc is incredibly pathetic. I didn't even insult Demon Slayer fans like you did in my review and he still got big mad lol. The current top reacted on positive review is just a guy gushing about the production values while spamming PEAK like we're supposed to pretend this training arc was PEAK instead of a boring waste of time.
