A question about the sins (Minor spoilers from ep 9+)

I'm on episode 9, and so far the story hasn't answered this question yet.

The whole mortal weapons of sin and deadly sins thing. I saw this question on reddit but it never actually got an answer. Are the 7 sins a combination of the weapons and users? Fate has Gluttony, and his sword is Greed. Myne has Wrath, and her axe is Sloth. Eris has Lust and her weapon is Envy. Is there both a user and a weapon for every respective sin? I'm assuming there's just one, either a weapon or a user for every respective sin, but that seems like it wouldn't be that consistent because that would just leave Pride which is either a user or a weapon, but all the other sins are partnered up already.
