Long story short, I have a friend who made a full visual novel version of DanganRonpa zero... in POWERPOINT, and some things led to another and Madarai became our meme character. It actually got out of control considering two months ago for their birthday I brought them ridiculous amount of Madarai merch including handmade Madarai plush. We also love Madarai as a meme. My friend and I find him hella funny and absurd, but somehow this meme became a part of our lives. Like, we made a lot of gifs and edits of him, wrote poems, and it’s just a huge inside joke.
But then we saw that someone else must have a similar joke (tbh, I can't imagine someone being seriously biased toward Madarai for real), and we were really curious who it could be.
So… good to see that the third brother is a real, existing creature.
