A battle against a mage and a dragon. Well, it's not one of those huge fight to determine the fate of the world but it has a somewhat epic vibe, I guess? Still the usual vibe and Kenichi continued to carry this show to the end. Seriously, this anime couldn't be one without him really.

Kenichi and the harem being brought to the feet of the kingdom...to perform a show for the nobles, and this is not looking good, at least for the gang fighting against one of the kingdom's best mages of Melissa Lana Nasturtium. No choice then, they have to go all out, and put the farce to a rest, based on his own word against the royal family and its inhabitants. Princess Lilith offering a proposition for Kenichi to offer her something for her birthday, and a pearl necklace is what he'll give her to grant sanctions for him. Of course, anything Lilith receives, her mother follows as well out of jealousy. Instead of just taking liberties with paying with her body, taking old, unused antique furniture is much useful to him. To learn the anti-royal faction consisting of Thogalum, as well as Shaga's faction, at least he helped the kingdom exterminate the faction before they could do anything. In the end, Kenichi being offered land and the rank of Baron, he did a service for the royal family...and finally can start his slow life for real with even more people. Meh, started out fine, though the anime got worse as it progresses.

The harem grows, love to see that still happening even in the last episode of the season. ๐ And damn, that Queen Amara's a hot mess, giving Kenichi her bedroom chamber key in front of everyone—including the King himself. ๐ณ๐ฅ The fight was kinda a joke, but what can we do with this kind of animation to begin with? And now Princess Lilith and Mailen join the group. I'm sure we'll get more hot times with Mailen and Kenichi in the next season. ๐

This was a fun show to watch and their use of the magic online shop was interesting. It was nice to have a main male character that acted like a man, instead of the normal anime tropes. I thought at first this was a strange way to be introduced to the royal family, but learning of the queens knowledge and hidden plot to get rid of her enemies, now that was quite intriguing. I am hoping for a second episode.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Finally, it's over. Good riddance to this shit show. Other than Kenichi being a matured male main character and a real man, everything else was terrible. It was a bother watching it but it's finally over. This and Noble on the Brink of Ruin really stressed me on a weekly basis. 2/10.

Finished. An okay anime, nothing special—just another isekai about a guy in his forties who went around conquering women lol. The animation was average, but the story, despite being basic, made up for it a little. At the beginning, the anime had that controversy with the princess, and I knew they wouldn’t have the guts to adapt it. The final episode was okay, and they changed it because, in the manga, the queen also goes with Kenichi, showing more interest in him than in the anime. I don’t think there will be a season 2, right? Rating: 7.5.

A decent last episode where Kenichi sees his 'family' growing once again and has to deal with both scary queen and quirky princess. Doesn't seem like he'll get to relax any time soon as he becomes nobility, still has to unmask the people behind the evil deeds, but also remembers the other 'mayo guy'. Overall, this was a fun little show, with some good characters (Primula and the MC being my favorites), a banger OP and some good ideas here and there. Now then, it wasn't much more than that, and as much as I liked it (and would watch a second season), I can't say this has been the best slow life isekai I've ever seen (for example, shows like Campfire Cooking in Another World and Isekai Nonbiri Nouka felt a lot more convincing and entertaining to me). Good series, but could have been better.

Toyota Hiace H200 is indeed a great choice to carry lots of women for your harem. This show has been alright. Unoriginal premise, below average animation and Anemone wanting to marry Kenichi and bear his baby right after her first period kinda creeps me out. But overall, it's still a fun show (it's like the junk food of the season) because of Kenichi's shenanigans. 6/10.

All ladies want Kenichi. ALL! No exceptions He even got himself a maid! And he's still making bank, even with all the old stuff. I don't think they would continue with a second season. Still, if they do, they have "the other Mayo mage" (weird to prepare food with mayo coming out of his fingers), the thing about the grimoire Anemone's mom left for her, and the "slow life" Kenichi is supposedly wanting. Overall, it was a fun show. It's one of those shows where you can disconnect your mind, but not fully if you're like me and look for all the money he's spending and winning (thank you, accounting past). Also, there was a lots of boo... Business for Kenichi to take care of, if you know what I mean.

Was not expecting a dragon vs komatsu excavators in this episode, but it was better than some boring royal bickering. Intresting, how in the anime the queen also does not leave with Kenichi and his harem, as in the manga she also leaves with him. Just strange why they decided to make this final change, as the manga pretty much ends with this episode. Overall, this anime will fade quickly from my memory but it was an enjoyable turn your brain off kinda fun. Highly, recommend the manga instead.

| He should have burned it all down. The Japanese should know better than anyone that the only way to permanently end a war is by devastating force. Precise modern warfare is ineffective and breeds bands of guerrilla terrorists and endless conflict. You can be bros in the following decades after two cities are erased from the mortal plane, and they take up making video games and anime. Seriously, though, he could have totally done it with ease and absolutely at the very least should have wiped out that entire chamber. They tricked him into taking his family to fight for their lives for entertainment. There's no room for peace after that. Only an idiot would roll over and let bygones be bygones, especially with his powers. It's naive to trust them to not threaten his family's lives in the future. | @ajw215799 I do agree with that a lot.. Really pisses me off when the main character ends up just being basically pathetic wuss who thinks nothing bad will ever happen and when it does happen, they continue be the fucking wuss they are because somehow they want to insert their weird moral superiority complex in to the situation instead of just doing what humans would actually do in those situations, especially when it comes to one's own "family"... Which would be making sure there would be no royal castle or kingdom regardless what kind of apologies were being made. |

one of the few shows i've ever watched that didn't increase the budget spent on the season finale by dinging what they spent on middle episodes. this show was low-qual work from minute 1 of ep1 and that low-qual work lasted till the last minute of ep13. whomever paid for this show, didn't pay enough and East Fish Studio probably pocketed a whole crapton of the budget and didn't use it on this project. the writing was meh to horrid. he obsesses about diesel fuel, even attempts biodiesel (which was incorrectly shown to a DISGUSTING level) then compromises with kerosene... which any construction equipment maintenance team would tell you... won't work worth a fig newton in modern equipment... no matter what the blablabla will tell you... try putting kerosene in your diesel fueled pickup truck and see how soon you're buying a new engine. THEN gets a deus ex machina 'magical macguffin' device to make diesel. uses DISGUSTING FUME SPEWING kerosene burning forced air heater/blowers TO DRY PEOPLE'S HAIR AND BODIES INSIDE HIS HOUSE!!! fukkkkk nooooooo! only the propane powered ones like that don't stink too badly. buys a BRAND NEW SUV with an immersion air intake snorkel... which means it has ANOTHER snorkel for the exhaust... which means it is SPECIALLY aftermarket altered for partial submersion electrical etc. systems... online? fukkkknoooo... Range/Land Rover makes those packages from the factory options... maybe Toyota does too... but no you're not buying that online. you can ORDER one for delivery to a dealership IF you've got a freaking Am.Ex. BLACK card or one of the other woo-woo richy-rich people unlimited credit limit cards.... the huge construction machines... nooo... at least Campfire Glamping in Another World had real-world labeled and sponsoring and correctly drawn items... the passenger van... noooo... where is his unleaded gasoline supply since he was so worried about diesel? did he make that with his 'magical macguffin' too? a pair of necklaces with that size, quality, and length of cultured pearls??? what effing e-tailer is he buying from? Kay Jewlers??? the log-cabin kit... ghmmm no. i'm about 80% sure nobody is selling those online. my uncle BOUGHT a HUGE house assembled on-site with prep blablabla with logs and it wasn't a 'kit' you could 'self-assemble'. but no, i don't think e-tailers are selling even little houses... sheds, yes. you can get em on Lowe's website with delivery setup etc. but not a house. there were other items that were meh... to huh??? to eh ok i'll let that one pass... but all in all... whomever wrote the source and then made the screenplay? fugging bugnuts. Ken's libido. :\ sigh :/ such poor poor taste in writing choices. purple cat girl? ok, three thumbs up! ;9 tiger girl? once again three thumbs up! ;9 the merchant daughter? AND the cat girls? ohhh boy. somebody quit droppin the Viagra in Ken's drinking water. the MAID!?! cmon people! dude's got fluff, fluff, and a tig ol biddy blond at home? no to the maid. definite NO on the ?countess? with the canal and then the queen? the commenters in this thread mention and show the manga pages... and i agree with the anime screenwriters, drop that fission hot tater with a crown! the adopted daughter/mage? NO!!!! never! that should NOT have been included in the source OR the anime. delete that entirely. Ken's over 40, male, with needs. yep i get it, he's right in my wheelhouse etc. but... there comes a time in a story when your editor needs to look at your work and go, 'no! bad mangaka! bad bad! house! back to your house! no snacks for you till you fix this!' the overall big, huge, view from SPACE perspective of this show's story was fun, interesting, and entertaining... but the detailed execution level... bleck. :p frankly, unless a NEW studio picks up a S2... i'll flip a coin to watch it if East Fish Studio keeps going. this show didn't suck entirely 100%... but there was a CONTINENT's worth of room for improvement.

The final episode felt like a rollercoaster—one where you black out for a few seconds every now and then—making it feel choppy and disjointed. But that was in line with the rest of the show: it started strong but eventually lost momentum. One thing I did appreciate was how it handled the main character’s sensual relationships. Most isekai protagonists are shy, and these kinds of scenes are avoided, so this felt refreshing. I’d love to see another season. The teaser at the end, showing our second isekai otherworlder cooking, definitely hints at more to come.

Yep really like the queen, she's hot and also super smart. Kenichi actually started caring for his family and made some bold claims. He ended up becoming a baron. Got the maid and princess. Queen and the countess from before should have joined the harem too but guess married woman is where author drew the line but was fine adding literal children. Also Azalea got the short end of the stick, feel bad for her. She was there for him at the start when he had nothing. Anyway. Mixed feelings with this one. Some stuff I liked but mostly was whatever. Had some unique ish ideas though. Somewhat decent production would have worked for its favour too. The animation was pretty bad. The only creative thing was that the end of the ED sequence was part of the actual final episode.

imagine being known as the mayo dude ๐ญ the battle was really sprung upon but was interesting to know that it was just a ruse to get rid of some bad eggs in the audience, the Queen is insanely tactical, like she's on a chess board or something that nothing hides from her but was nice to see that Kenichi's efforts are praised upon by such a scary woman, honestly thought when she was getting up close to give the praise he was gonna be like omg she so sexy instead of scary knowing the that there is ecchi here and there ๐ looks like more can happen in the future which I wouldn't mind, tho this show isn't amazing but was alright ngl I did really like how they tied the ED to end this series with the last cut of the ED sequence transitioning the characters actually being within that scene enjoying a peaceful dinner it would be insane fun for Kenichi to eventually meet Okonomiyaki Mayo Man (his vibe makes him feel like a really hot passionate sorta dude ๐ณ) but that'll be for another day

Quite the disappointing finale if you ask me. This anime was never going to be some groundbreaking hidden gem. It's a straightforward gimmick series, but it somehow managed to start decently and gets good, only slows down a little and picks it back up near the end. It was building up to be a fun ending and a decent hook for any chance of a second season.... Then this episode comes around and builds up an audience with the KING! Who doesn't even have a single line.... The Queen is set to be this major political player yet decides is a fine test/counter-attack to just change an audience into a blood sport match. Then she decides she just wants to play the part of unfaitfully married harem woman #2. The princess throws three tantrums and solves more of the plot than anyone else involved. Kenichi goes from oh no, to going to crush it all, to oh noes for real, to sure whatever you want. Honestly, the only thing that somewhat makes sense is that Primula still has all her chickens in line and keeps the now full-on harem in order despite now having nobles and sex maids and just about every visiting gimmick girl you could ask for. If they go back home and the tavern girl comes back into the picture, they may as well pay Primula for a third full-time job as gigolo-managment. Overall, the 5 second teaser of the Mayo-Mage being a normal guy somewhat saves the idea of paying attention for a second run, but this episode may have started a debate for me on dropping this series if it wasn't the final one. Sorry for the rant, I just really disliked the poorly sandwiched mess of plots they called this episode.

Such a disconnect from the rest of the series, it was honestly an awful way to end it and huge disappointment. Just random transition into some stupid fight for ultimately nothing? Im no fan of needless conflict for the sake of conflict, with how the story was portrayed through the season it would have been better off just staying chill Slice of life content. They really tanked the story with that ending 5/10. Meh. The least they could of done if they were that insistent on forcing some unnecessary conflict would of been to give us that damn mech loader from the intro or have had the golem magic transform the back hoe. At least that would have been pretty funny, but I guess that was just bait for the sake of the OP vid. Episode felt like it just didn't fit in with the direction the story had been going, the kings role was practically non existent as well. Fails to really wrap up the series in a meaningful way, and imo just hurts the overall score.

First, a random fight scene followed by that absolute disappointment of a revenge declaration. Oh, you've got a piece of paper stating that everything's actually fine? I guess I don't care about the part where my family almost died then. He didn't even receive any compensation and instead paid them with some fancy necklaces. If you're going to throw in a random fight scene, at least follow through with it. Also, what's with the note in the book? Is that some foreshadowing, or did they forget that Kenichi named her Anemone?

The battle which is cool is unnecessary. It leaves a bad taste of the royals. Despite that, I love this episode. This anime is so horny I got a hard on all throughout the episode. I would have screwed the queen and Princess Lileth. Anyway, so Anemone is the daughter of a famous mage. No surprise there. I would have loved to see her learn more spells, but I don't think the manga has more stories to tell. I'm definitely reading the manga and see if it's hornier. HAHAHA

Overall not bad but the last episode leave sour taste. I like when he talked about destroying the kingdom but later bribed the royals to escape the predicament. He keep talking about slow life but engaged the fight instead of escaping, I guess in the end pride is more important than safety of his family. It's clear the royals want to kill Kenichi and his family. Without Anemone's magic and high protection, the excavator will be destroyed or at least unusable after one attack. Previously Anemone said that she can also use explosion but the enemy mage did not expect for her to use high protection because the intel was outdated lol. Valval0 said: First, a random fight scene followed by that absolute disappointment of a revenge declaration. The book was owned by Anemone's mother, somewhat a famous mage. Kenichi did not name her.

Very good ending episode. Good series, lacking more production value and uncensored Ecchi! Kenichi is a family man. Hoping for a second season, which will be welcome if and when coming.

A poor end to a poor show. Don't notice how Lilith's necklace kept appearing & disappearing. Or how the walls fixed themselves in minutes. Nope! Or how furniture of alien creation is somehow priceless. It could have been made yesterday for all anyone in this world knows. And really now, he gave them a "pearl necklace"? Both of them, a double "pearl necklace" to boot? ๐ "Oh, this grimoire is from your dead mother, who was a skilled mage". "Hum" ๐ค Huh? He wiped out some evil noble's proxy army and that noble sure went after him, eh? Wait what? Completely ignored him? Well that sure makes sense. Or not. All these nobles and not one attempted to contact him. Screw position and rank, there's money and power involved! They cannot ALL be idiots, the queen would have smashed them long ago if they were.
