Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Chapter 193 Discussion

Wouldn't be strange for Faris to get acknowledged as Acnologia? First she introduced herself as Black Mage, recalling Zeref in a certain way, now is some time she's redundant with being Acnologia or being the holder of his power. Am I the only one feeling her being a sort of cosplayer of both Zeref and Acnologia?

I would really like that, it would be an interesting plot having her just being a huge fangirl of Zeref of Acnologia and just pretending to be her idols, instead of just being the bad girl.

Loved the chapter, especially the scene where Lucy punched Elefseria and called him out on his nonsense. We definitely don’t want a repeat of Natsu shoving his hands between Lucy’s tits like a pervert. What I keep wondering, though, is how Elefseria is able to shrink himself the same way Brandish does.

Elefseria aside, I genuinely don’t understand anything about Faris anymore. Okay, you’re an Acnologia superfan, sure, but can you explain? First, how did you even get his arm? And second, how are you able to just summon him out of nowhere with nothing but that arm? I’m completely lost.

@MiraStraussFan99 It’s still really strange how powerful she became just from equipping Acnologia’s arm. Acnologia wasn’t strong because of his limbs, he was stronger than all the dragons because of how much he had bathed in dragon blood. His strength came from his magical power, not his body parts.

@a0i-kun That doesn’t make any sense. If she really ate his arm, how would she be able to use it as an arm when it should be getting digested in her stomach, you know? I hope Hiro gives us her backstory soon, just like he did with Zero’s. That should clear some stuff up.

@Skuvan i agree dragon-eating in general makes no sense, but since we're here anyways, may as well go along with it haha. all of Diabolos have already been established and all their abilities work differently. so Faris being able to transform her arm isn't a big stretch, imo

@a0i-kun I honestly kinda disagree. Like, if you’ve watched Naruto, Ginkaku and Kinkaku did something similar to Diabolos, they were trapped inside Kurama after he swallowed them mid-fight. The only way for them to get out was to consume his insides, gaining his power so they could escape.

Diabolos operates the same way. They eat dragons, just like Acnologia used to drink their blood while bathing in it, to gain the power of the dragons. Faris, however, never ate anything, she just found his arm and equipped it, which immediately gave her his powers. How the heck does that work?

I could understand eating it, which would let her consume Acnologia’s DNA and gain his power. But how the heck does equipping it, like gear in an RPG, grant her his power? And how the heck hadn’t the arm rotted in the first place? Acnologia passed away a long time ago. See how confusing all of this is?

No, she hasn’t said it literally. I’m only saying that because she’s literally equipped it. Like, if she had eaten it or done some kind of ritual like you said, it would’ve been understandable. But look at her, ever since her debut, all she’s been doing is flexing her arm. It’s genuinely hilarious.


Yeah, I don’t know. She’s most likely been learning black magic over the years to become knowledgeable enough to create her own books, just like Zeref did, so she can become the ultimate villainess, a mix of both Acnologia and Zeref. I still wonder, though, who’s stronger, her or Ignia?
