Lol, that bed scene got awkward. Siren just wanted that drink!

Thought this episode is funnier than usual. Kyouya is leading his normal life since his debut. Seems the show wanted to focus more on their lives than the music stage this time.

I want to love this show, but Soji and his 'race to the top and beat everyone else down' mentality is making it hard. Do they really have time for that kind of self-centeredness? On a more emotional note though, he's just kind of a jerk, I mean sure he lost a mentor and friend, but Kyoya literally just lost family and someone who helped him come back after the death of his parents and is constantly reminded of it every time he mentions Yosuke's name or work and gets a blank stare in return. That's brutal.

Well, it's 24 episodes long, so they have time to sort things out on that end and it's clear from the OP that they're going to. Still an annoying creep though.

The rest of the band is in trouble too, in their own ways. June may as well have a 'doormat' tattoo, μ is your typical social media narcissist, and Siren is just an artistic hot mess all round.

Yosuke must've been a bloody saint to keep these weirdos in line.

Moments like Thirsty Siren will always get a good laugh though. She and the production team knew exactly what they were doing with that fall and pin, then yoinked it back from the brink with her claiming her prize.

U does seem to be a bit of a free spirit. Sad that no one but the team remembers Yosuke. Still she sure is good at advertisement. Nice to know where Nagi came from though. Siren really can't live without someone helping clean up huh. Without the unifying force that was Yosuke the team's sense of unity sure has shattered. Hopefully this production camp would help change things.

Soji's behaviour towards Kyoya and the supposed "battle to become SI-VIS's leader" he had in mind didn't make sense to me. Even if THAT had been his personality this whole time, all the members must have surely been grieving and mourning the loss of Yosuke, the man who was supposedly their "leader" and mental backbone. No one had said a word, but he was already thinking about stepping into that spot. He also made it clear through his words and actions that it was for his personal growth instead of for the group's betterment. And openly arguing with Yosuke's relative (the one feeling it the most) who repeatedly stated his willingness to protect the people (the group's reason for being) - no hidden motive. What even was this petty beef? I'm sure things will be resolved in the next episode(s) but how Soji was portrayed in this one was incredibly unrealistic.

μ is quite the free spirit to capture Kyoya and Soji's rather love-hate friendship for her fans, amidst the former settling life within Saegusa Academy, though him trying to mention Yosuke anytime will not help the others recollect anything about him. For now, the only thing that fires him is Nagi, the first entity picked up from the Mirage 10 years ago from Saegusa and Yosuke, albeit SI-VIS not having formed yet, of which she lays the backbone for their Metis anti-XENOS system and the idol group itself, with her Idea being variable until she chooses to exist, that thanks to Kyoya, her levels remain stable.

Kyoya having to discuss about Nagi with Siren a.k.a Kyoko Takagi's place, and she's quite the lazybum for someone an indie artist as her that Kyoya thankfully has his morals to be mature enough and bring everyone together, as separate and individualistic as they are. With Soji's ignorance and persistence to want to be the next leader of SI-VIS, playing with Kyoya was never an option, even when their harmony is at stake without Yosuke.

At least Siren is consistent with coming up with new songs to power Idea, and President Saegusa's call to summon everyone for a training camp for their upcoming Summer album, it's going to be a rather heated production camp alright.

With as much as 2 cours to with, this will be a slow burn.
