| Yano is living his dream. Getting a birthday celebration and being recognized seems like a breakthrough for him in life. Yeah, I'm sure this will be a birthday to remember for him. Great to see how much his friends and class cares about him tbh. |

| What an episode! Everyone throwing Yano a birthday party in class makes me so happy. My boy’s come so far from not having friends and being afraid to do anything because of his injury gimmick. In fact, we’ve gone like 4-5 episodes now without him getting hurt at all! Of course, he got the best present of all in Kiyoko as well ๐ฅฐ The diary exchange activity is cute and a nice way for Kiyoko and Yano to learn more about each other. They finally addressed the elephant in the room that is Yano’s eyepatch too! Can’t believe he wears that because he’s heterochromatic. That’s nothing to be ashamed of! I’m guessing the girl we see at the end went to middle school with Yano and she knows about the accident that caused his eye to be another color? I really don’t get why anyone would mess with him over that tho, I went to HS with a dude like that and everyone thought it was dope. Good episode, surprisingly deep and I like how we’re gradually getting more and more about Kiyoko and Yano every episode. It’s not been too reliant on the injury gimmick and has had some really good development. |

| The treasure hunt was such a clever way to reveal Yano's past, and that love letter twist? Brilliant. Kiyoko’s sketchbook gift was so touching. it really shows how much she understands him. And the eyepatch reveal? I did not see that coming. Heterochromia from an accident adds so much mystery to Yano’s character. |
| Yo, what the heck kind of episode is this? I definitely didn’t expect such a heavy episode out of nowhere. Is it because we’re getting close to the finale? First off, I can’t be the only one who gets reminded of Ken Kaneki whenever I watch this anime, right? Especially when they say “gantai”. Secondly, I’m really curious to learn more about the girl who appeared in the pre-ending scene. My guess is that she’s connected in some way to the accident from long ago, the one that changed the color of Tsuyoshi’s right eye. But I guess that’s pretty obvious from what she said, haha. Thirdly, I can’t be the only one who thinks Tsuyoshi and Kiyoko are super adorable, right? Like, when Kiyoko realized she was being a bit persistent with Tsuyoshi, she immediately apologized. And Tsuyoshi told her the truth right after, which shows how much he trusts her. Speaking of Tsuyoshi, he’s already dating Kiyoko, right? They’re basically one at this point. Even if he’s self-conscious about his secret, he should’ve told Kiyoko the truth so she wouldn’t get overly curious and accidentally try to force it out of him. I’m sorry, but personally, I think this one’s on Tsuyoshi. |

| Everything about that birthday treasure hunt was just so perfect. The wholesome assist from the teacher, Yano straight up asking for hints, Yoshida in a box—I couldn't stop smiling through it all. Going through Endless Eight is such a sad nightmare to have after enjoying summer as much as our guy did lol |

| That treasure hunt is 100% my favorite segment of the show so far, Yano and Yoshida are so fucking cute. This show is so good, so underrated. Finally, eyepatch lore drop. I am definitely very intrigued with Yano's backstory and that new girl. |

| This was probably one of the most wholesome treasure hunts I've seen in a long time. You can see how Yano was enjoying it and the same went with Kiyoko and the others while watching Yano. The main prize at the end with Kiyoko in a big cardboard box was really cute and certainly made Yano's day. =) Same goes for the diary exchange, which Yano and Kiyoko had fun writing to each other with cute doodles while in the library. It was here that Kiyoko asked Yano through the book about his eye patch, which I'm glad this topic was finally going to be talked about. It took him a while to talk about it after avoiding Kiyoko for a bit, but from what he told her, he had an incident which injured his eye and that it has healed up, although because of the injury, it changed the colour of his right eye, so he now has heterochromia. I'm hoping that we get to see what his right eye looks like and I'm sure Kiyoko and the others will be fine with this and be supportive, although for now, he does look reluctant. Not only that, but the girl shown at the end seems to know him after mentioning about him still wearing his eye patch. It'll be interesting to see what will happen next. Hopefully we'll know more about this girl and her history with Yano. |

| oh my god i just knew this anime would fall victim to the usual fabricated drama trope, with a character from the past and the cliffhanger and all that, i bet it's gonna be some insignificant stuff in the end |

๐คฃโค๏ธ Never guessed there would actually be a story behind that eye patch lol I thought that they would just brush it off without any explanation. Yano seems to be not revealing the whole thing behind the accident that turned his eye colour different and we got a new girl introduced who seems to know something about that. Is this where we would come to know about the furyo days of Yano !? I hope not ๐ ๐ |
