Got what I expected from this. Seven guys, 1 girl. One school with these vampires. I'm also getting a reverse harem vibes from this show but at the moment, it seems to be just interest coming from the guys. Perhaps they'll do character relationship developments with each of them and Sooha.

Animation quality looks average at best imo. Low expectations on this but hey, the amount of vampire theme anime in recent seasons have been raising.

Korean entertainment giant HYBE's series of Webtoons involving their myriad of original stories stemming from their managed K-Pop groups, with ENHYPEN being the most famous and successful, think of this as the Korean version of Japan's Disney's Twisted Wonderland, only Japan-ified courtesy of Aniplex as Twilight the Animation.

Of course, with a show starring the titular K-Pop group, ENHYPEN's songs in their Japanese versions...are OK at best, being from their 2024 EP Memorabilia.

The first story in ENHYPEN's vampire saga with Dark Moon: The Blood Altar, bringing in the titular female POV with Sooha meeting the K-Pop members through their fictional characters, everything seems alright at the school with Heli and the rest of the guys helping Sooha around. And it's most certain that each and every one of the guys trying to impress Sooha in any way they can, this academy is more than meets the eye for the abilities that each guy brings to the table...being vampires in their own right.

For now, the guys seeing Sooha as merely human, she defintely has shown that she has supernatural strength that surprises the guys. Though what will the future being, is up to anyone's guess (if you've read the Webtoon ahead of time).

TROYCA being back to their all-boys' projects, this has some potential.

Seems like this Episode was mostly meant to introduce us to our main cast, both our FMC & the 7 vampire "Brothers". Beyond that, I cannot say much. Excepy why is she so freaking strong? Well, I'll withhold judgement for now & I'm always an easy sell for a vampire story.

I love the premise. The Twilight saga got an anime, haha. Reverse Harem would be good when it's done right.

Enhypen doing the op and ed is a blessing and since it adapted from manhwa that's to be expected.

Just what is Sooha, if not vampire maybe a werewolf but that might not be the case since the vampire guys are drawn to her. A night school that doesn't let vampires get into school.. yeah, not raising suspicions at all lol

I am going to give this a fair shot, considering I used to read the manwha at the very beginning & I enjoy Enhypen’s music.

However, I am struggling with the pacing of the first episode. Everything is very really fast, I don’t feel very drawn to the unanswered questions yet, and I’m not immersed in the world yet.

Animation is okay, saw some anatomy slip ups. But I enjoy the designs of the boys a lot. Sooha’s design is fine, I understand that she somewhat represents a self insert character which I’m not opposed to.

As I never finished the manwha I am not aware of the plot, so I’ll keep watching to see and understand where Sooha’s powers come from & why the vampires are drawn to her. I also remember and have seen glimpses of werewolves in the story, so I’m tentatively curious about their involvement.

I am plainly hoping that there won’t be too many characters to remember and that the pacing can sort itself out as I’m currently feeling a bit neutral with the first episode, rather than optimism.

This seems fun! I mostly came for the designs and vampires, so it'll probably be easy to keep me happy with this one lol. Let's see... It's weird that the vampires are drawn to her, right? Maybe a vampire princess...? Probably not, but that's the thought I keep thinking. I think it's her eyes; they're a such a deep shade of a pink. It's very pretty.

Also a school that operates at night and doesn't let vampires in... That's wild, I wonder if we're gonna be told why that is? ?aybe it's just one of the things they expect you to suspend your disbelief for haha.

the op ( one in a billion jp ver.) and ed ( fatal trouble) are sung by enhypen !! its their webtoon/manga “ dark moon the blood altar” but i personally like “children of vamfield” since it tells more about their backstory ( their concept is vampires so yeah)

The only misgivings I have about this show is the English Dub is garbage, the characters either don't match or the accents are too back and forth, I can't tell which hurts my ears more. The Anime art style matches the Webtoon version, and they kept the songs from Enhypen for it, so I'm happy to watch it, just sticking to the subbed version this time around, for sure!

I came with good expectations but this show doesn't have even half of the quality of Tamon's B Side from this same 2026 Q1 Season. The screenwriting and dialogues could have been so much better. With a season packed with average-to-good shows I'm not that excited to follow one that's only carried by the good musicians this was based on :/

they're not even trying to hide that they've made the main character a Mary Sue - they spend 2/3rds of the show justifying it

I'll give it a couple more episodes but if it's going to be this blatant about using a terrible trope I expect the rest to be low quality

I have one question, the lady told her, "The rules prohibit you from leaving campus after sunset" so, when exactly was sunset meant to happen? Every time we see the sky in that episode, it’s already pitch black.

I really loved the first episode. It reminded me a lot of Vampire Knight, a reverse harem with vampires surrounding a heroine, just like this one. I also liked how the episode ended with the vampires revealing themselves, even though it was quite obvious from how they were presented, haha.

Watching this just reminds me of Vampire Knight tbh (EDIT: XD didnt see Skuvan mentioned this too lol) . Kinda wish the color palette was more darker to fit the gothic theme of vampires, but i'm enjoying myself so far : ) It's a reverse harem so expectations weren't too high.

As someone who loves the webtoon they adapted it well, but there is something that doesn’t seen right (5 chapters in 1 episode and total of 75 chapters) but idk what, maybe graphic, the anime is “opaque” meanwhile the webtoon is more “polished” or maybe the voices as the vampires are enhypen, i obviously wanted their voices but they gave them others that by the tone match their characters, in the complexity i liked it

These people saying it’s a reverse harem def doesn’t know nothing about the story, if I had to spoiler I would, it looks like all 7 of them are in love with Sooha but it isn’t like this they are attracted just in another way you’ll know in the next episodes (I think 3rd?) only one of them (and 1 of the wolves) is in love with her, it’s a story that goes against time laws for love and protection not an harem even if it seems like this some times

I will keep watching because I am curious, specially about a "school with night classes only". But, I don't care about the actual IDOLs acting, I am watching dubbed in my language, and the VA were a good and competente selection. I am also curious to learn what the MC is, why she is so strong

engenes, we finally got the anime adaptation!

the voice acting and personalities for most of the characters were exactly as i'd expected! they really didn't let us down. shion is exactly like sunoo!

furthermore, the pacing of the story is much faster than the manhwa's, resulting in sooha being portrayed poorly, which is evident as others have expressed their confusion as to why she is so strong.

the OP and ED were amazing! 'One in a Billion' for the OP, and 'Fatal trouble' for the ED, which is my favorite song from their album, Memorabilia.

@Anepg the names are not atrocious at all. the first letter of every character's name matches the IRL member of enhypen! for example, 'H'eli as in 'H'eeseung, 'S'olon as in 'S'unghoon, and 'N'oa as in 'N'i-ki. they purposely did this to make it easier to remember. also, their lore is similiar to enha's. Heli is the eldest in the 12th year (Heeseung is the hyung of the group), while Noa is the youngest in the 9th year (Ni-ki is the maknae)

I recognized Sunoo's character, the others I really couldn't, I like Niki but I didn't knew who he was at all.. You're a fan right, is the new album connected?

@Anepg yes, i am a fan of ENHYPEN and i've already read the manhwa. 'Dark Moon: The Blood Altar' is ENHYPEN's official manhwa, which means that the characters and storyline are based off of them. This is why you recognized Sunoo's character, and it was the most accurate in my opinion! The other characters aren't really similar to the IRL members in my opinion, haha.

I am happy we are getting a vampire anime after years. I think I have watched all the main ones vampire diaries, diabolik lovers (yikes), and Vanitas (soo good). I will say this first episode was a bit abrupt, it has been a while since I have watched a reverse harem and I forget that the pacing tends to be off. The op and ending are cool, the female lead isn't a husk, and the boys seem cool. So far the cons are that the animation was a bit choppy in the background. i watvhed idolish7 and there was never any issues with animation maybe it was the device I was watching on. The second issue was the pacing. i know this is probably to get rhe introductory stuff out of the way due to limited episodes but it felt really bad to watch. That said, many anime have had this issue ans have been bangers so im looking forward to it.

I am aware this is based off of a webtoon made by HYBE and is based on their group Enhypen. I am a huge fan but have never read the material so I am coming at this more from the stand point on whether the anime is good or not.

And finally Enhypens Manwha is an official anime. First ep was not bad, just like how i remember reading the manwha back then. The budget doesnt seem to be very high but i think itll be a decent watch. I do wish the opening was a bit better animated but nontheless if you're a kpop fan and stan enha you will enjoy this show.

it's got a good start introducing the characters in world for the story. will definitely be giving it a shot.

but what since are the using for the dubbed? at first I thought British but then I was getting hints of Australian too. I think I got a little focused on trying to figure the x and out over watching it.will probably need to watch again for full story.

The start of this anime was really good, I really like it so far! It has a good story line, but I do have to say, the girl is a tad bit annoying. I do however see the resemblence with the main 7 guys and Enhypen, so that is nice for someone like me who is an Engene.
