| Miyu just had such a blushing, goofy face this episode, she looked like a meme. She definitely tries to be a good girl for Tani though. Despite how she reacts, Miyu does seem like she's actually in love. Good for her. |

| “You’re adorable” WITH THE HEADPAT AND FACE RUBS??? 😍😍 So proud of my boy Tani, he’s growing up right before our eyes. 3 episodes in and he’s already had so much development. I love them sm! That’s the one thing that’s stood out for me in this story so far. Obviously Suzuki and the show are gorgeous, but I appreciate how even with the story being committed to the he’s an introvert, she’s an extrovert set up, the characters communicate and grow closer every week. For example, Tani not understanding what Suzuki meant by “adorable” instead of spending an episode wondering about it to himself, he straight up asks her which helps him understand her line of thinking and grow closer to his gf. If you don’t understand something, just ask! No wonder this only ran for 60 chapters or so, the author actually tells a story and doesn’t waste time on nonsense. I’m shipping TairAzuma so hard. They’re so perfect for each other and just don’t know yet lol. |

| Ah, I really like the in depth presentation about the perception of others(Taira specifically) relationship and about communication & understanding in a relationship, there are more meanings to words and actions. Tani really knows how to act, man that headpat is really smooth.  Hang in there dude. |
| After 2 episodes focused on Suzuki's and Tani's relationship we now get slightly deviated by the rest of the supporting cast. There's Taira for example, one that has the reaction we thought the rest would have had initially yet in this place he's able to confront his own prejudices while figuring out what to think of this development. Meanwhile, with Suzuki bubbling around, Tani continues to listen to her and with the term "adorable" being in the middle of the conversation he tries to put it in his own terms. Also that gentle touch by the end of their meetting... yeah it must have been super seductive for Suzuki. It's good that the rest of the cast will start playing more of a role here. We might even get couples comparisons. |

| Suzuki's dynamic with pretty much everyone is fun to watch but I especially love what she has with her brother. That impromptu motorcycle ride was hilarious lol Also love how Suzuki switches up her hairstyle even when you'd think her buns would be a signature visual trait or something. |
| I figured the spotlight would shift off of Suzuki and Tani eventually, but thankfully there was still plenty of the two of them alongside the introduction of some new characters, being Taira and Azuma. And with them being introduced, there came some really interesting views on relationships, like Taira is flabbergasted that Suzuki and Taira are together due to the social hierarchy in his head, but after talking to both Suzuki and Tani, he’s started to realize his error and changed a little, I thought it was well done despite happening in just one episode. And giving how Taira and Azuma were at the same middle school together, I can see them being a side couple at some point, but we’ll see about that. And regarding Azuma, she’s a fun friend of Suzuki’s, I like her quite a bit already, she also has a taste for bad boy types apparently, I’m not sure if she’ll actually end up with one or not but I respect it. There was also some really good stuff with Tani in this one, where there was an interesting focus on conveying thoughts through words but not getting them across correctly, as well as the meaning behind words besides the literal meanings because of Suzuki’s use of the word “adorable”, this is stuff you don’t really think about so I really liked how it was brought up here, and because Tani talked to Suzuki about it to understand her better, their relationship progressed even further after he left her as a superheated tomato lol, just all really good stuff, nothing with them has disappointed so far. And here at the end of the post, I just wanted to mention that I know folks are gushing grannies over this show, and that’s awesome, I am too even lol, but I want to add that while it’s great this show isn’t dragging things out and that characters are truly communicating so there’s no big drama, I don’t think this needs to be a gold standard, because if every show was like this, they’d all be the same. So yeah I’ll gladly take my overly dramatic romances and slow burns alongside one like this, they can all exist in harmony lol. |

| 10/10 episodes! Man, this season of anime is so peak. Love to see an anime that's so consistent with the adaptation. Every episode just keeps getting better and better. Azuma is finally introduced in this episode. I feel like Azuma is talking about her own experiences when she talks about juvenile detention, or maybe Azuma just watches too many movies/anime like that lol. THIS MAN TAIRA IS SO FRICKING REAL LOL. The way he thinks about the people around him really hits home for me. It's like looking at myself lmfao. And he comes to the conclusion that he is the one in the hierarchy. Please tell me, who hurt you, bro. I need Azuma and Taira to be a thing right now. Suzuki and Tani are THE BEST GIRL and BOY OF THE SEASON. The character development for both of them is incredible. Suzuki keeps making Tani grow as a character, just as Suzuki also grows because of Tani.  |
| I LOVE THESE CHARACTERS SO MUCH. they really make the "story" so much more enjoyable. i also really enjoy how the show introduces the common misconception or trope, to then turn it on its head without the need of unnecesary drama. for one, i think that the friend subtly telling tani that it was her brohter taking her to school was super sweet. |
| 3 episodes in and I'm already in love. In particular the visual direction is such a joy to watch. Saturdays are lacking this season. Sunday is the best day this time. |

| Miyu really has a lot of different expressions to her its quite fun to see, really the opposite of Yuusuke. Enjoying seeing a bit more of the side cast this episode this anime has a bunch of really fun characters. |
| Oh so there's a guy like Taira in this series too. His self-realization was fast. Bro looked within and found out, "Maybe I'm the problem." I already like him. No way. Tani petted Suzuki like she was a cat. I didn't think he was THAT awkward. But that was super cute. I love how Suzuki acknowledges that their tastes won't exactly be the same. But it's ok as long as you share your interests once in a while. It's so cute. Love this show. |
| Whyy is this sooo goooood. I cou;dn’t help but smile through the whole episode. This anime knows how to express the feelings and thoughts of the characters in a really good way, I love that. Taria is just the best character of this series, mark my words. |

| Loved the episode, an easy 5/5, mainly because of Kentarou’s reply to Shuuji, where he explained his way out of being called kind. It literally made me laugh out loud, haha. I also love how the main couple has started walking to school together, and back home together. Cuteness overload. |

| "Here comes Suzuki." "I know that screech." I know several screeches like that in Evil Overlord school, but with Texas twang and drawl blended in. Using Taira as the main third party observer and commentator this episode was an interesting choice. " it's about finding a partner who can raise your position." Not really a thing for Evil Overlords at the top. We just go along rocking our harems of lessers. Lots of intelligent self reflection and communication this episode. Is this really an anime roncom? I am getting twilight zone vibes on the back of my neck. |

| I like how the main couple continues to communicate their thoughts to each other rather than let misunderstandings fester, such as Tani realizing that Suzuki wanting to wait for him to walk together after his library work and later on asking her what she means by 'kawaii.' Him also head-patting and touching her face and telling her that she's adorable (or kawaii) was a great way to end this episode. |
| This episode finally shows a hint of Natsumi Nishi. I haven't read the manga yet, but I was just curious about her spotlight in the OP and looked her up in the character list. She hasn't even spoken a single line but the show already showed us how her personality is going to be like. She is actively trying to get better at communication and with the way she reacted to Tani glancing in her direction she is definitely socially anxious. |

Man why is this anime so refreshing to watch! Went from a "I'm about to switch the channel to something else" anime in episode 1 To "Imma LOCK IN HERE!" after the confession. |
