That reminds me I started buying the German version of the manga and for some reason they decided to go with the title Mooning Over You, which seems a bit unfortunate.

I have the first volume of the manga and I think the adaptation holds up pretty well. The art in the manga is a bit better as far as the characters are concerned, but nothing to write home about really.

Art is superb where it counts, like face close ups. Story may not be original but every one of these type of shows brings new characters with different couple dynamics and different support characters. It’s just like gaining a new friend circle for 3 months, never gets old.
This pair in particular work too well for me, not a dull moment so far, I dread the inevitable drama a lot of romance anime have, but maybe I’m wrong (please🙏🏻)

I've only read the 8 English translated volumes, that said I enjoy the character design in the anime very much. The essence of Yui comes across very well for me, mimic and everything.
Regarding the plot I always think it's hard to judge until the season is complete in order to see which key events were emphasised or adapted differently. So far I'm not missing vital information or characterization from the manga, I like how locations like the curry restaurant feel and I think the side characters which should appear up to that point have left at least an initial impression.

I am anime only for this anime, while I am loving the story so far. The animations is a bit wonky in some episodes but so far it has not been a major issue.
While in the production side of things from I can see from KeyFrame Staff List only EP1 was done in-house and next two episodes was outsourced (EP2 = One's Work x Studio Fu, EP3 = ECT x Studio Fu) and hence the wonky ness in EP2,EP3. I just hope the production doesn't crash mid season, and we get decent consistent animation in rest of the episodes.

@Luxura You don't like fast pace romance? I don't think it's going that fast though,and this kind of romance anime is quite rare you know,it's always slow ass romance with unnecessary drama here and there.

I am not complaining about it but from the first episode the guy is too forward and touchy. I guess it’s kind of taking away the innocence of first love. I mean the dude is not even blushing :) I mean 2nd episode they shared the bed in nurse office come onn 😄 Or maybe i am too old and can’t keep up 😄
