| Yamada seems much more goofier compared to Tani. However, it's refreshing to see another male character getting the spotlight. Nishi kinda reminds me of Miyu with her funny thoughts and blushes. For Miyu, I think that black shirt looks kinda strange on her. Maybe I'm more used to her colorful look. I do like the braids makeover but she's still the same Miyu. |

| Nisshi the rock! Ahhhh we got our first side couple finally and they’re so cute, this episode had me giggling like a mf. Yamada and Nisshi seem like they’d have nothing in common, but as we know from this story and irl, opposites attract. It’s going to be soo fun seeing Yamada gradually being Nisshi out of her shell and her conversational skills improve. I’m almost more interested in that ship than Tani and Suzuki ngl lol. Not to be outdone, Tani and Suzuki’s accidental date today was so cute. It’s just really cool to me how Tani will say the sweetest stuff so bluntly and without hesitating. Like inviting her to his house and then introducing Suzuki to his grandma as his girlfriend. This show’s just so straightforward and wholesome, such a breath of fresh air for Shonen romance. You can tell how happy the grandma is deep down that Tani got a gf too lol, and now Suzuki mom knows about her bf! Great development. |

Tani, Tani never missed, inviting Suzuki to his house and coming up clean about their relationship yet his grandma caught them. Truly an honest man.  |

| Finding out Nishi's first impressions of Yamada and Nanami were delinquents that somehow got charmed by someone similar to her is so funny to me lmao. Good on Miyu for following proper boyfriend home visit protocol and formally introducing herself to Tani's "family" as soon as she could. |

| The focus is shifting more and more away from Tani and Suzuki as more side couples are introduced, but the fact the side couples have their own kind of sweetness that’s also very heartwarming to watch makes me fine with that lol, I had a feeling the side couples would have to be good anyway if the main couple is so good already. And this side couple in question that we were introduced to in this one was Nishi and Yamada, I was wondering how these two would hit it off based on the OP visuals and it turned out to be very simple, but very cute at the same time. So Yamada unknowingly likes when quiet girls laugh at his humor, and that was what made him magnetize towards Nishi, definitely understandable on his part, and it’s nice seeing Nishi attempt to talk to him too due to her own insecurities, which unfortunately I relate to lol, especially the connecting thoughts into words thing, it often just comes out as gibberish because of that, but mad respect to Nishi for wanting to work on her version of it, I’m excited to see how she and Yamada’s relationship develops. Also, Honda’s weird sucked in lips face is funny lol, that’s one way to keep yourself from smiling. But we weren’t completely deprived of Tani and Suzuki content today. With summer break arriving for them, we got to see them hang out outside of school, particularly Tani’s house because the library was full, and I really loved the way he invited Suzuki, bro had no idea what he was saying with the classic “my parents aren’t home” thing lol, but that’s part of why we love him. And the Tani home visit was a really good time, nothing crazy happened but it was chill which is good too. And at the end of this bit, it was cool seeing Tani come right out and say that Suzuki is his girlfriend to his grandma, there’s no reason to hide it after all, since they’re already together, and in turn Suzuki got some fresh grown veggies from Tani’s grandma, it pays to know people that raise a garden, I would know because my family does one every year lol. |
| This shit is fun to watch.. Nishi another adorable creature, Yamada is a man of culture. Can't wait for more of them they are so cute. And Honda amazing support and her face when 😭😭.. I can even forgive a kiss bait just because Tempura is the cutest thing in the world. Grandma hit them with ara ara lol. |

| Both halves of this episode were so freaking good. But that first part... My heart... I'm overdosing on wholesomeness. We finally got the proper debut of the new girl after so much buildup. I thought I heard her voice somewhere. But it seems to be a new voice actress Oomori Cocoro. Nishi's voice is so lovable. She nails it as the shy type of girl. Yamada, you dog. It's only one episode and he already got Nishi's contact. Albeit it's as "friends" I don't think it'll be long before the two starts dating. And hoo boy, the 2nd half. Suzuki went to Tani's house and got caught by his grandma. So glad he just said who she was lol. Suzuki also told her mom, who's actually very receptive. It's so refreshing to see. Loved it so much. |
| It's fuzzy Polaroppo Sunday and with that we get another banger of an episode. While the focus of the series in the main relationships, it's also quite fresh having a side ship going on. This time is between Nishi, the shy girl (almost as Bocchi) and Yamada, the happy go lucky guy with the initiative to get to know her. The way he expressed his desire to do so all while Hon is pretty aware of the situation restraining herself from smiling and Nishi was overthinking it was really cute. It was a really heartwarming scene and they have all my support. Also, the second half wasn't anything to scoff about either as Tani was able to invite a cool dressed Suzuki to his house (cool to see how she changes hairstyles as well). There was even a moment in his room where he thought they'd kiss but instead she saw his cute af cat Tempura. Of course someone in his family was bound to find out about their relationship and it was none other than his grandma, who made me giggle with that inconspicuous smile. Eat your veggies Suzuki. This anime is the gift that keeps on giving. Simply great. |

| I swear, this is one of the best high school romcom ever made. Nishi is like me fr fr, such a well written shy character. Her anxiety is not as insane as Bocchi, but it made it more grounded. I really like it. |
| PEAKKKKKKKKKK EPISODE. ANOTHER "ONE OF THE BEST EPISODES". The pacing in this episode is very enjoyable, there is so much to talk about, the dialogue feels fast but easy to understand. One thing I really like is how each character's inner thoughts always have a very unique and interesting visual presentation. NISHI IS HEREEEEEE. Seeing Yamada trying to figure out what she's really feeling is so funny lol. Yamada's straightforwardness is definitely effective in melting Nishi's quiet and shy exterior. Yamada, who has successfully figured out what's in her heart, immediately talks to Nishi without having to pretend to talk to Honda. I really like Honda as a supporter of this couple. Every side character has a unique aspect that makes me always remember each character. Tani and Suzuki's relationship is finally known to their grandmother and mother! Tani never fails to amaze me.  |

Our boy Yamada-man makes his move and asks Nishi for her contact info, that was cute. Taira best character fr, he’s just so funny. I already wanna see his arc animated. Ain’t no way Miyu really thought Tani would do something like that, lmao. NEKOOOO. His grandmother's scene was so funny. |

| This episode was so cute, the first half dedicated to Yamada and Natsumi's suddenly blossoming friendship was so cute, I really hope we get more of that in the future episodes their so cute together. Miyu's outfit was super good this episode too, the home date was cute and Im glad their being a little more open to their family about their relationship even if only slightly. |
| Show is delivering banger after banger episodes. No diminution in quality. The story, characters, and comedy are all great. The offbeat art style is very expressive and adds to the story telling. "Foundation will cover it." Not really. No you dumb old man. It is a vacation. I approve Shino's bikini choice. Suzuki stressing over meeting Tani's family. Tani immediately removes that stress. Suzuki stress over Tani's family not being there. |

| Having all languages drop at once is a blessing and a curse. Am I really going to watch back the ep in both Japanese and English? Unfortunate that the onscreen text isn't translated in dub though. I think I have to swap to the dub long term for stuff like this. But I'll still check back on sub. Suzuki literally talked to the cat like it was a samurai master or something 😭 And Nishi Yamada is precious really. 🫶🏿 He really bossed up. This actually might contend with Hell's paradise as my anime of the season  |
