frieren was bc of the olympics, as NTV is broadcasting some final on friday and they moved the news segment to the time frieren would usually air.
jjk has been scheduled for already a month and a half to have a week break this week, production probably just needs this week to finish the rest of the episodes
(read that on reddit n it makes sense lmao)

| @Arciinin because anime air on television in Japan and guess what does too? The Olympics so just had some show had they time slots moved because of them it could have been the case here but you are lucky it wasn't. Thought Frieren s2,to your eternity s3,holy Grail of Eris and Champignon Witch all had some sort of delays related to the Olympics. |

@coreynj It is in part thanks to the staff of this very production who went on strike for better working conditions, and said better conditions are exactly WHY we're having a mid-season break.
| @Netbug Glad some change is happening. Hopefully they also start paying them more, and they stop trying to air shows before they're ready to be aired. Let them take the time to work on it without the pressure of a deadline for when it airs. |
