except the part where #18 was blasted by vegeta, it doesn't seems the androids were serious, and they actually said "when we play next time", though it's also mean they don't evil since they could kill them but didn't, it's also says they have much more in storage.

i do not understand though how #18 except cars to come through lol, the road is broken.

Great fight. Especially to show the nature of these cyborgs, who really has no desire to kill our heroes. Except for Goku of course.

Aaaaand everyone except Goku is useless again. I suppose around now is when the legacy of previous arcs really starts to build up in this series. There's quite a few good guys on the team and literally none of them are at all useful.

One Piece solved this issue by having every antagonist force be a group so everyone at least has a match-up to play out. But I think Hunter x Hunter does it best by just having a power system that allows anyone to be useful. The limits of Dragon Ball's power system really become apparent in Super where they just decide to throw out even the tenuous logic Toriyama set up and allow basically anyone to be relevant and its so god damn awful.
