Let it be known that everything Shiori did in this volume were all manipulation tactics to get her way. In reality, Rei was not obligated to cater to Shiori even when she was in the hospital. I don’t think it was right for Kira to push him into seeing her. I know she didn’t mean it harshly, but in this circumstance she should’ve listened to Rei when he was explaining that Shiori’s ploys were to try to reel him in. Shiori is an abusive individual that Rei and Kira need to stay away from.
| @azenobio I have to remind myself that they're in high school. It kind of reminds me of what happened with my sister. Though fortunately for my sister, and unfortunately for that guy, his threat of suicide had the opposite effect. When my sister gets scared or panics, her first instinct is to run. So when she was in high school, a mere freshman, and a guy said that he'd off himself if she didn't go out with him, her first instinct was to run and ghost him. |
