Synopsis

Himuro is an office worker who belongs to a race of supernatural beings with strange powers. Whenever he is deep in concentration, he subconsciously plunges his poor coworkers into a close rendition of the Arctic. Even so, contrary to his icy powers, Himuro is a warm and kind person. He likes flowers and cats, but alas, he cannot get too close to either.

Himuro has a soft spot for his colleague Fuyutsuki, a calm woman who has a knack for providing simple solutions to his unconventional problems. Whenever Fuyutsuki does something for him, a snowstorm of emotions builds inside Himuro's heart, and he fails to notice the raging snowstorm he causes on the office floor.

Thanks to his snowy tantrums, Himuro's feelings are apparent to everyone but Fuyutsuki. However, fueled by immense adoration and desire, Himuro is prepared to do whatever it takes to capture her heart.

Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryou Joshi is a web comic released on the author's Twitter account since August 3, 2018, and published in print by Square Enix since July 22, 2019. Chapters are also published on Gangan pixiv after the release of each volume.

The series has been published digitally in English as The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague through Comikey since April 25, 2022, and by Square Enix through Manga UP! The volumes have been published as The Ice Guy and the Cool Girl by Square Enix since October 10, 2023. The manga has also been published in Polish by Dango since June 24, 2021.

I've seen that there are no reviews out for this yet so I decided to write one on my own.

So basically Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryou Joshi follows the lives of co-workers Fuyutsuki and Himuro. They have a really cute relationship, that made me go "awww" quite some times so far. It's just super wholesome. Sadly the chapters are pretty short, but that does not change the fact that this manga is a great read, especially for in between.
Also the further you get into the manga, the more characters appear and we get to get a deeper insight into their relationships.

The premise is he (Himuro) drops the temperature of his surroundings and even causes blizzards when he either is concentrating or when he's thinking about the girl he likes (Fuyutsuki). But everybody else is okay with this ability of his like it's normal, maybe a little inconvenient, but everybody likes the guy enough. This description does not even begin to portray how amusing the situations were in this series, amusing and so cute.

The chapters are very VERY short, like 2 or 3 pages each. Each chapter feels like a 4-koma even but with a lot more detail obviously, both in dialogue and artwork.

Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryou Joshi is a cute wholesome manga that follows the life of the two main characters, the Ice guy or descendant of a Yuki-onna, Himuro, and the cool female colleague, Fuyutsuki. The story centers around the daily interactions between the two while working at their office, where Himuro is usually so smitten with something Fuyutsuki did. Every chapter is limited to a few pages but these few pages are enough to completely capture my heart and make me go 'awww' every time.
