Onizuka-chan to Sawarida-kun isn't all together uninteresting or incompetent. Honestly if you haven't read a lot of generic RomCom manga you might actually get a lot of mileage out of reading this. Progress is steadily made, the art is decent, and the pacing is efficiently swift. While the characters are rather shallow, to an inexperienced reader who hasn't seen a lot of tropes, this might not be a major problem. Afterall, my problems with the series are a little more personal in the end.

The main male lead Sawarida gets great pleasure out of touching the other creatures appendages. He wants to touch the wings, antlers, ... and tails of the other kids at school. This is all framed really awkwardly and kind of uncomfortably. If watched the guy touch the other characters in a kind of fetishistic way doesn't bother you, I don't see this Manga bothering you much. If it makes you squirm reading the first chapter I'd recommend just dropping it then and there.

There's not much to say about this manga. If you wanted to read some cute wholesome time killer romance that's only meant to give you a straight face most of the time with the occasional smile while reading, then this might be your jam, but there is one MASSIVE issue with this manga.

And that issue is the ending, if you could call it that.

I had just read the last few chapters thinking "oh nice the thing that was meant to happen midway the manga, but had been delayed till the end because the author needed ... to make a 2nd volume for the mOnEy, just happened"

Just to wake up the next day see that it ended *surprised pikachu face*

The ending came out of thin air and was awful at that. The 0 satisfaction from the ending that made me realized that nothing really happened throughout the manga.

To summarized the entire manga so you could decided on whether or not you want to read it, would be this "Have the 2 characters reach point A to point B in their relationship and then call it a day :) "

-None, no story, just have two characters flirt

Art: 5
-It's fine, but there's occasional inconsistency with Onizuka's (the female oni) eyes.
-The artist has a difficult time drawing 3/4 view faces

Characters: 5
-Not bad, but not good. Fairly one note characters that you could describe in a single phrase
-Main guy: Plain nice guy with weird fetish
-Main girl: tsundere (not exactly, but basically)

Enjoyment: 8
-I was a long time reader so I always enjoyed when a new chapter came out, and since each chapter was only 4-5 or so pages long, I never got bored of it

Overall: 3
-I hate terrible/unsatisfying endings more than anything, but hey it wasn't such a great manga to begin with, so it's not worth crying over anyway
