My personal list of worthwhile stories with yandere female leads. The stack has three rules:
- Female romantic lead is an obvious yandere or shows clear yandere like tendencies. By that I mean that girl's yandere tendencies cannot be a twist warranting a spoiler tag.
- They are still a romantic lead, instead of being a rival or a mere antagonist.
- The story features an actual romance with a yandere.

That is to say, this least contains a very broad spectrum of genres and will be updated as I keep going through my reading list.

Yandere is a character who initially shows affection and tenderness towards someone, but their obsession turns destructive, often manifesting through violence and brutality. This term originates from Japanese, combining "yanderu" (sick) and "deredere" (in love), which describes a character who is initially sweet and innocent but later becomes extremely possessive and dangerous towards the person they love.
