This one is a snoozefest. Predictable from the first chapter and only gets more generic. There are so many interesting things they could have done with the story and yet "find the drug dealers" is the best they can come up with. Instead of a compelling saga it feels more like a collection of cheesy side missions. The characters are far too simplistic and dull to really get invested in. I would describe it as purposely "safe" like it was thought up during a boardroom meeting. A few jokes. Light drama. Forgettable action with zero buildup. That's what you are getting with this series.

A mish-mash of various tropes are mixed into a generic murim manhwa with a very boring main character.
Plot Our MC is Murim alliance leader's genius son. At a very young age, he gets poisoned and wakes up in the body of heavenly demon cult leader's son. This guy has a reputation of being a spoiled playboy drug-addict and as cult leader goes missing, many members of the cult are trying to take over by eliminating MC. Initially another one of those reincarnated-as-the-villain stories, yet it gains a rather interesting twist within which enriches it beyond the standard machine generated variations that are now more common than the stars on sites like Webtoon.
Your standard "good guy wakes up as a evil sect" is present, but one of the things that Reincarnated as an Unruly Heir does manage to do is keep the story entertaining even when setting up the story that comes next and introducing the mysteries surrounding the original "villain" in this sense... and in an actually timely manner in comparison to others like it, it both introduces and then ...
