7.6/10
It’s a little bit cliche, a little bit edgy, a little bit cringy, but it was surprisingly enjoyable. This manga is more of a parody than anything, as a lot of the tension is ruined due to the mc’s snarky moments with his humor, but it wasn’t horrible due to how refreshing/self-aware he is.
The mc is the largest appeal of this manga, but how he is written is also a bit inconsistent. His current and past life are all jumbled up, and the author makes him treat the current world as a game, so all his interactions with other characters also come off as
...
superficial. However, he then becomes a bit more emotionally attached, which is a bit weird with how the author writes it.
Though, he is still a positive factor for the story, as he brings a lot of self-awareness and humor. The side characters are also a bit humorous with how they were written/interact with the mc.
As for the plot, it’s a little bit cringy and cliche, but the way the mc handles some of the moments makes it more tolerable.
It’s definitely not the best isekai or story ever written, but it’s refreshing due to how the story portrays itself as a more comedic/parody-like than the rest of its counterparts.
