Manga: Your Smile is a Trap
Similar characters, FL is cold calm and collected (majority of the time). ML is very in love with FL and her biggest fan. There is a funny best friend who can be a bit overbearing at times but overall is a good character. Well rounded characters in general, ML is cute and pretty, like most FL in romances, and in contrast FL is kind of masculine and elegant.

Manga: Shades and Shadows
When you start reading them, these 2 stories may seem very different from each other. The main characters couldn't be more polarizing, and Yeonwoo's Innocence is a lot darker and traumatizing, while Shades and shadows focuses on more relatable themes. However, the essence of these two manga are similar in the sense that they both delve deep into the psyche of all the characters, and focus on the characters' relations to each other. They're both beautiful, well-written stories that make you feel for the characters. As long as you're wiling to strap in for the ride, of course.
