A list of manga about solving a big mystery, solving individual cases that are unrelated to each other or solving individual cases which are linked to solving a bigger mystery.

The mysteries solved are either a mystery to both the protagonist and the reader or just the protagonist with the reader knowing most of what's going on, it may also be a mystery to whoever is trying to solve the mystery which could be supporting characters or the protagonists antagonist.

From Buddhism, Christian sutras, etc. to stories about emerging religious groups. Works in which some kind of fictitious religion appears are also included.

In addition to the main theme ones, it also includes those in which the main protagonist is a monk and sub-themes.

Manga series with covers that feature recurring design and composition elements, consistent art styles, gradual changes that show intent and overall harmony of the entire collection. I'm open to suggestions, I try not to add too many “standing character” situations, but will do so if the art is striking enough.
