Okay so this review may be a BIT biased. But from the first issue I read, it feels like a series I would recommend to others. So it it isn't obvious I am a bit into the whole "Giantess" thing but the manga does a good way of explaining the justification. Pretty much humanity is in ruin from gigantic beasts who just want to kill anything and everything in their path. It's the whole perspective on the food chain, what's if human's weren't at the top? I like this perspective as it's not something we commonly see in most media, the idea of what if
...
we were truly helpless in a scenario. It's not like human's can't defend themselves but its more of a pitiful defense, the most a human could do is to simply annoy the creature.
But the "Deities" are the ONLY line of defense. They are OVERSIZED humans, like I think the comparison is 50x taller? (However I could be wrong, I was never that great at math.) The point is, Deities need weapons to battle against the monsters but humans provide them the weapons to fight. In return the deities protect the people, respect and cherish each one of them and fight their battles so that they can all live another day. It feels like a harmonious relationship, they both need each other to survive and both have the same common enemy.
Their is a LOT I could talk about but if this sounds interesting to you, I would recommend going in blind. As you might find something interesting from a perspective you haven't seen before. The artwork is beautifully detailed, quite a lot of action sequences and graphic depictions of violence. I would recommend at least checking out the first issue.
