It's hard to write much here.
All in all, “The Archduke's Adopted Saint” is a very generic but fun manga/manhwa. If you know what the genre is generally about, you know what this book will be about:
An orphan girl receives special powers, which a noblewoman resents for reasons that are initially unknown. So the girl is hidden away, tortured, and her powers are stolen. When the woman finally manages to die after years of cruelty, she is reborn and is now destined to have a better life.
“The Archduke's Adopted Saint” deviates from the norm in only a few points, but the story still does a good
...
job within that norm. So if you like stories like this, you'll enjoy this one too.
The criticism is therefore quite simple: “The Archduke's Adopted Saint” is very generic. In addition, there is a huge time skip in the middle. That's never a good sign, but it happens so close to the end that I can't really judge it. It must also be said that the focus here is clearly on the protagonist recovering from the scars of her last life, rather than taking revenge. In fact, this revenge aspect, which often plays a major role in the genre, has not really occurred so far, even though it has already been teased that it will still play a role.
All in all, I can only repeat myself and say once again that “The Archduke's Adopted Saint” is a generic but well-executed example of its genre. I enjoyed the story.
