This manhwa is on hiatus due to the artists health condition, but anyway, every chapter I read on webtoon there are always hate comments toward the male lead, like okay I get it, he is horrible, but who cares, come on, that's the whole point, he will have development and redemption and everything because otherwise why bother writing a story?

The art is amazing, every time I see Matthias' face on a panel I would spend 5 extra seconds to stare at his beauty, I would sigh and say "so handsome.." in my head. Honestly, I don't care what he has done, he will always be ... innocent for me because he is so hot hahah.. anyway, for the art alone and how everyone looks absolutely gorgeous, I would give this 10/10.. but the manhwa is on hiatus after 24 chapters.... ugh... please artists.. authors... come back and continue.. I love your work!!! please get healthy soon!! (and ignore the haters please)

I don't care what people say or what their opinion is, but I love the dynamic and the pairing of the main characters, they are made for people who like them, like me, and people who don't like it should just back off, I think they are perfect for each other, I think they are perfect couple, so many potentials for development and twists and turns... and romantic moment!! so I really wish and hope for the authors and artists to continue soon asap! I have never seen a manhwa so beautiful since The Pale Horse, I did read the artist's other work like Winter Woods, but this one here is so much more beautiful, every panel feels like a painting of beautiful people..

So, tl;dr, this manhwa is amazing and gorgeous and I hope the hiatus ends asap (praying for the artists health).

The art is so majestic, but the story is uh-uh. It is testing every ounce of your patience. The duke is scary and annoying at the same time! That makes you want to throw your phone.. I swear, the female lead deserves an award for patience, too kind, too understanding, and somehow still manages to see the good in all chaos. It’s frustrating because the story could be great, the art already sets the perfect mood, but the duke’s actions make you want to scream, cry, or maybe even beg for some character growth. Andddddddddddd whyyyyyyyy I ammmm stillllll scrollinggggggg theeeeee pagessssssssssssssssssssss

The art is absolutely immaculate — as expected of this artist — and the story is very interesting, but the ML belongs in the trash can.
I should have known I would not enjoy this since Dark Romance is not my cup of tea, but I didn't expect this ML to be such a red flag (a black flag, really). Not only he is the worst as of now, but he will get even worse according to the novel, so no, that's a big NOPE for me. But if you enjoy Dark Romance and men who should be rotting in jail, go for it I ... guess??
