Though at the start it could be said to be iffy because of the feelings for her cousin it's quickly said to be gross in a way ? I don't know how to explain it but it seems the author doesn't actually support it but used it for the plot which I think was a good idea overall. Her family is comically evil but in her 2nd life she doesn't really care about it anymore.
I think I can recommend this but some people might get mixed feelings because I know some people won't be able to get past the incesty plot at the start. I ... know I'm like that with some things LOL. The female lead is shown to be weak but slowly becomes stronger when she gains more confidence and I like that. It kinda reminds me of Ruby from HTWMHO in a way. The main villains make sense for this world as well. A dragon to go against the evil dragon. The concubine/empress who wants a puppet ruler through her son to make it so witches are more recognized. I think it's good because the hero's also want for witches to be recognized but go about it in a different way which differentiates them! Though she might also just want power though.. Her brother wants to control her to be a good pawn even though he has feelings for her. Yes it's disgusting but it is a historical setting. She ends up with someone else entirely though.
I love how the entire story wrapped up and how they'll get to be together forever! Gosh I really have so much I could say about this manhwa but literally never judge a manhwa by it's first few chapters! L'ARC GETS WHAT HE DESERVES BTW IF YOU'RE WONDERING!! MOSTLY EVERYONE GETS WHAT THEY DESERVE!
(add on after some thoughts) The ending was almost perfect but 2 things were a little off. I didn't think of it until someone mentioned it but the way the female lead forgives him almost immediately for pretending to be someone else entirely is a little off putting, maybe with more chapters it would've been resolved in a better way but I still enjoyed it. Number 2 is that brown haired lady (Lori-something) didn't get what was coming to her after she tried to kill 2 people.

But if you like darker parts of history in real life with fantasy elements as well this story might be for you. I didn't think I would like it at the start but I've grown to love the world building and everything around it!
