Synopsis

The past has changed, but like a fiery comet, he still comes. Mugi Hwa, the one without equal, slashed through Murim's skies with his sword, toppling every lord who dared to face him—even Cheonma, Mugeuk Geom's father. But Mugeuk didn't accept defeat. Binged this Manhwa in 3 hours on a monday off

I read my own share of Murim stories, but this one is by far one of the very top of peak.
The first chapter slaps you hard, there's no joking around and you swiftly see an MC who is down for revenge.

Luckily he isn't a blood crazed psychopath like other versions. The dude lives to punish people regardless of their status as commoners or "untouchable" martial artists based on evil doing. The good of this work is the dialogue that is extremely charismatic together with the characters with a life of their own and not an equal script for everyone equal to ordinary manhwa.

The story is good, yes, but it is not innovative. Motivation is cliché, powers are clichés, but relationships are unique. The protagonist's relationship with his father, when he called his father to hunt, even though he could ask for whatever he wanted, is very good.

Another good point of this work is the fact that art is not that garbage art in a generic way. It has its soul.

This is a generic heavenly demon cult successor type Manwha with slightly more 'seeking daddy's approval' than normal. The thing that stands out more than anything with this 1 in particular is how unbelievably cringe the dialogue is. Not a single chapter goes by where you're not in physical pain from reading this edgy sophistry that sounds like some 14 year old trying to seem cool.

The art is decent. The story is mid. The dialogue is awful. Would only recommend if you're already at the bottom of the barrel.
