Synopsis

The past has changed, but like a fiery comet, he still comes. Mugi Hwa, the one without equal, slashed through Murim's skies with his sword, toppling every lord who dared to face him—even Cheonma, Mugeuk Geom's father. But Mugeuk didn't accept defeat. Instead, he turned to the forbidden: a time-bending ritual that hurled him into his own past. Now, retracing his steps, he races against the clock until Mugi emerges once again. Yes! This is another Murim Manhwa and if you're here, then you're probably just like me who likes it no matter what.
I've read many stories centered around Murim, but this one stands out for two reasons: Dialogue and Family Dynamics.

First is dialogue. Most Murim Manhwa slop that I've read have confusing, nonsense terminologies and childish banter. The type with only cool action and no substance. This however is the opposite. The dialogue and conversations in this Manhwa feel mature and adult. The characters talk in accordance to their age which makes it engaging to read. It has minimal action and sword fights so far ...

Binged this Manhwa in 3 hours on a monday off

I read my own share of Murim stories, but this one is by far one of the very top of peak.
The first chapter slaps you hard, there's no joking around and you swiftly see an MC who is down for revenge.

Luckily he isn't a blood crazed psychopath like other versions. The dude lives to punish people regardless of their status as commoners or "untouchable" martial artists based on evil doing. This is a generic heavenly demon cult successor type Manwha with slightly more 'seeking daddy's approval' than normal. The thing that stands out more than anything with this 1 in particular is how unbelievably cringe the dialogue is. Not a single chapter goes by where you're not in physical pain from reading this edgy sophistry that sounds like some 14 year old trying to seem cool.

The art is decent. The story is mid. The dialogue is awful. Would only recommend if you're already at the bottom of the barrel.
